Ted Glover: ALL of this today is due, in some form, to Spielman incompetence, except the '22 draft.
As we move forward with "their guys" - are you any more confident than you were heading into 2020 or 2021?
The trenches are a mess, the QB situation has been botched with no plan, the drafts aren't looking great, somehow the face of the franchise didn't get the contract he deserved, etc.
What's the plan here? Again, being different wasn't the goal. The goal was being better. It's hard to say that right now. Heck, we're a few losses away from closing the chapter on year two already as a big failure. If that happens sometime in October, it's inexcusable. It really is.
No GM is perfect. I agree that KAM and KO will get a couple more years. That's probably fair, and it's the Wilf way. But how is that Culture of Collaboration going when KO isn't playing so many of KAM's picks? This is Kellen Mond 2.0. And 3.0. And 4.0.
Purple Pain inquiring minds: "Do you wanna get a look at Cine, Booth, Asamoah, etc.?"
KO: "Not particularly. I see them every day.”
One of the most sensible post yet. And you said it perfectly- do we have more optimism for the future now than when Rick was fired and I say no.,
We definitely had roster issues and we needed to dump veteran talent and get younger.
The question?
Did we get younger with better or worse talent than we got from Rick and my opinion is that we got worse. And that’s not good.
