1. i think we are good there...
2. Low top 10ish but at time can play like a top 3 and at times can play like a real sh*t... Very weird dude. The talent is certainly there, the arm talent is top notch, can thread needles when he HAS to, a coach needs to make him do it when he dont HAVE to, very good when kept clean - like a premier passer in a clean pocket, not an asshole or behavioral issue guy, is really good rolling out to his left which is weird for a righty, think a bright offensive mind could he him doing what hes good at and thats what I wanna see.
3. I dont like the other option you dont like this one - yes we agree to disagree
4. Cherry picking success - got it... Spoiler alert the O Line fell apart week 16 2017 and hasnt been the same since. Xavier Rhodes was the best corner in football for one year and then inexplicable disappeared from relevance. Having a lockdown superstar corner is SUCH A HUGE ADVANTAGE. Rhodes was so good that year.
5. Correct to some extent, but its well documented on this board in my other post ill never support a tank job, ill never trade future first round picks to put a QB on a credit card and mortgage the future and as long as they didnt do either id give this new management team enough rope to hang themselves and hope they know more than me. hell they better...
6. Your just all over the place on this one to where you lost me and i just simply dont care...
I think we have an understanding here and i hope im right and for your favorite team's sake you should hope i am too... Again am i saying oh yeah we are going to the Superbowl??? f*ck no... But lets keep knocking on the door and one day we'll kick that mother f*cker down. I think there is a lot more juice to squeeze out of this lemon and im here to see if my huntch is right or wrong either way. At least I wont always wonder...
Im putting all my chips in and everyone can call me an asshole (if they havent already) if im wrong and we win 8 games... I say minimum 2 games over .500 and a playoff win and then we'll see what happens hopefully some lucky bounces and we get hot... If somehow we get hot and get to the conference championship its simply 2 coin flips.
3. You were the one who asked me to tell you what else could be done, my entire point was responding and showing there were plenty other options when asked.
4. Hahaha it isn't cherry picking we are talking about the last chunk of years of our history. It was a clear example of that route leading to more success right before Cousins even got here with the same GM/Coach etc., it is the reality of what actually happened as is noted. You can think none of it matters if you want but most don't just throw real context out the window unless they have an agenda. You are the one in basically every example trying to cherry pick to distract from the overall picture. Adding JJ and Darrisaw and saying look these guys contracts in combination isn't bad, that cherry picking two rookies to downplay his impact.
5. Alright so you will blindly follow the team so long as they don't tank or trade picks for a better QB. This entire conversation and your reactions make a lot more sense. You don't overly care about what is being said or looking at context in full. You have an agenda to defend this teams decisions so long as they don't "tank" in your mind. I personally think it's ridiculous and we won't ever get one of the top QB's without actually trying to but you can have whatever opinions you want as I have said.
6. I am responding you going off about the defense lol. You see why it is important not to misrepresent what someone else is saying? Sometimes even you forget what you randomly deflected to.
I would love to win a SB but I am not going to deny facts or ignore reality just because it's my favorite team. I call out issues when I see them but that doesn't mean I am not hoping for the best. That it won't work is the real issue, a lot of people are not just happy wasting 6 years on the idea we might get very lucky. We have never won a SB lets actually try and think of a good plan that will get us there instead of blindly hoping for the best if we keep doing the same old thing. You don't have to agree but don't get upset when people have different opinions or feel the need to argue against things that actually happened.
I hope we do get lucky. I just don't think we should make what I and many other think are clearly bad decisions just because we might get extremely lucky. I think we should probably put a real effort into truly building a team that can win a SB. You don't seem to want to take a couple of main routes often used to doing that though from a QB perspective though. I guess if you are just hoping to luck into one no need to go those routes though.
