I just can't buy that this is anything other than a League Average Offensive Line. Great Tackles. Nothing else to write home about. Cleveland will get extended. Ingram is improving. Maybe with a better Center the ceiling gets higher. I'm not as down on this group as I've been for like a decade, but they sure as hell aren't the 10th best in the NFL.
Their tackles are elite, and tackle is by far the most important and valuable position on the line. The IOL is mediocre but it's not terrible. Cleveland and Bradbury are pretty good overall (Cleveland's pass blocking is a weakness) and Ingram is a rookie who's been improving after a rough stretch in October.
10th is a pretty fair ranking considering the rest of the league. Comparing them to the rest of the division, they're comparable to the Lions (PFF has them 9th), worse than the Packers (4th) and better than the Bears (11th, which seems too high). Comparing them to other teams I follow, they're quite a bit better than the Seahawks (26th) or Broncos (20th).
I wouldn't argue too much with dropping the Vikings to 12th-15th (Cowboys should be ahead of them, at least IMO) , but again their tackles are so good that it's hard to rank them worse than teams like the Bucs (down to their 3rd string LT) or the Raiders (Parham has been struggling worse than Ingram recently, Bars is another weak point, and Eleumenor is a mediocre RT).
The drop-off in the Vikings run game since midseason has a lot to do with the injuries to Darrisaw and Bradbury.
I do think Cook has declined considerably this year -- he's not nearly as elusive in traffic or explosive in fighting through contact. That's been a big factor too. I think they'll move on from him next year.
