PPD: The Missing Context - Why MN & Cousins Didn't Work...

Blame goes around but on his watch as the leader we moved no needles. I will give two examples.

1. If I am a store manager and the store goes to sh*t what happens? At first employees get fired but after a while if same problem occurs the owner may fire the manager. Because it’s on his watch it happened. We first started with a vet team. When that didn’t work we set world records in two drafts 2020 and 2021 trying to build through the draft nothing. So two regimes and totally different teams similar stuff.

2.We will use a basketball example to simplify things compared to 4 and 8. While the defense sucked against Giants the game was still in the balance. So if your team down one and you miss two free throws what happens? Who fault is it? Now a lot of things happen in a game but the opportunity was still there. So regardless of the masses saying it’s not your fault the political talk. We know good and well why we lost.

Funny how guys drop ball after ball yet if given one more chance Pat capitalize while another falters yet thinks he in the same bracket lol.

Lastly I will state again stats can be deceiving and a ton of 3 and outs and slow starts by an offense can affect a defense also. Time after time Kirk starts games and seasons flat and then tries to climb out.

So lately most Super Bowl offenses are top 5. How many times was our offense a top 5? How many times did we have a Super Bowl offense with everything in his era but a freakin OG and C. Yet all summer y’all mourn for this mild slightly above talent 🤦🏾

Simple math says if almost all my games are close rather we playing a good or bad team then you will have more late wins than a team that can put teams away. All the way to you like that he’s been doing this BS. Even this dude trademark came from a tired fan base where he was playing like sh*t and rallied to 9 wins🤷🏾‍♂️. I’m not making it up.

As I have been pointing out, this is just purposely using a strawman argument to bash our fans intellegence. Basic trolling/baiting. This is why the Cousins discussion always end up in the same spots because his fans post this type of thing even when they know it isn't remotely close to what the majority have actually been saying. It's all about misrepresenting to make an easier argument to defend Kirk.

Basically everyone understands football is a team game and not only on the QB. In my entire time on this site no one has even shared one example despite how many times these ideas/claims get made by Kirk supporters. We all know the reality and we all know why it keeps happening anyways. Context will never matter because that is always the main agenda going on.

Lol you have just massively shifted the goal post. Also I would point out can you show me everyone that used these ridiculous strawman approaches to troll/bait others to nearly the extent driving conversations around defense? 

The QB is often the most popular talking point, see the Darnold and JJ threads going on right now. Further, when certain fans act in the manner described it will bring a lot of animosity around what is being discussed so you are actively fueling the fire in terms of people posting about Cousins not getting it done. Cousins is unique in this aspect because of that repeated behavior for years by his fans. Talking about him more than defense in no way is the same as the claims you have been making where people don't understand defense matters or blame them too. 

I just showed a very specific example of you lying about something you knew wasn't true in order to misrepresent fans. Another example would be your last lines in this very post haha. No one has said what you are claiming. What has been explained before is that in terms of the QB they obviously have far more influence on offensive side of the ball, that's why it also obviously matters more in evaluating them. All of this has been addressed to you in this very thread before too but here you are ignoring context to push the same agenda in the same way despite that. Hence, broken record. Just address what people are actually saying, stop the misrepresentation over and over and over. Then you won't hear those complaints nearly as much, if at all. 

Not at all, I have disagreed with many people/arguments during my time here and it’s not related so the term wasn’t used. A strawman argument is specifically about misrepresenting the arguments presented to make it easier to argue against. Shifting to something no one is actually saying.

This is exactly what I keep quoting you and other cousins defenders doing. That behavior is exactly what the term describes which is why it was used. It’s also why no one has ever actually given even one example of someone saying anything like what keeps getting claimed. Let alone from those involved in the discussions.

I mean in 2021 and 2022 I don’t believe there is another QB who had more 4th quarter comebacks including the biggest comeback in league history. And in 21 he put the team ahead at the end of the game multiple times only to have the defense lose it on the last play or last drive of the game. He definitely didn’t convert the 4th and 8 but there also wasn’t an open WE he missed or didn’t see down the field. There just wasn’t a play there to make and if he threw to a covered WR and it was picked he would be getting ragged on for not throwing to TJ and letting his playmaker make a play.

4th quarter comebacks are great but how about simply beating teams in quarters 1-3 not having to scramble at the end? But let me guess that's always the defense or a guards fault right? That never falls on the QB
