Given what happened last year it wouldn't shock me if Jones gets 80%+ of the touches until he gets injured.

Teams value the position, they just don't value RBs past the age of 26.

It is ridiculous that Saquon Barkley got as much per year as WRs Darnell Mooney and Gabe Davis in FA... but given the very poor success rate of paying RBs after the age of 26 it is justified.

We get it, Kene Nwangwu is one of the scrubs you have weirdly decided to die on a hill for.

Everybody has at least one of those guys...usually they are a bit more talented...mine was Andrew Sendejo, who somehow managed to hang around 99 games and 3500 snaps as a Viking.

What you see in Kene Nwangwu to make you think he should be that guy, I don't know. He isn't young, by NFL RB standards. He isn't productive. He hasn't managed to crack the field offensively for coaching staff after coaching staff...Iowa State, Zimmer, O'Connell...but managed to hang around as an explosive KR. That's gone,the kickoff is a different type of play now. His one redeeming value to this team is gone now.

You'll find someone else who never plays with no upside to back. Have faith.

he still has value as a kick returner. I get it's a different style play now and you don't think it fits his skillet but I expect he will be very effective with the new rules

Well Chandler is very good. I don’t think Kene gets beat out of rb3. Not yet

I don't know what "pick" you are talking about? Or who "held on to it", but ok.

If you are saying you are conceding that the Vikings are going to totally suck this year, and think somehow magically they are going to be great in 2025, then good luck with that. I have no ill-will toward the Vikings or their fans. I like when the division is strong. I actually may have more faith in the Vikings in 2024 than you. I think 8 wins is possible.
