Yet you have been adamant that people should accept your opinion of his arm strength lol. You see the issue with not watching much but being so adamant on an issue that goes completely against the consensus and data like from the combine? You even turned it into a strawman with Josh Allen trying to mock Vikings fans (in response to someone sharing a video of a player talking about one of their arm strength). You have been provided countless examples of players, analysts, scouts and the clocking at the combine to counter what you have said but you still play the dumb "must be a vikings fans" thing. It couldn't be more obvious with this behavior it is just to downgrade JJ to get a reaction.
Funny enough I have shared a video/breakdown in this very thread covering the bolded aspect. That is a footwork and mechanics issue that shows up especially when he throws to the left sideline. I hope you understand that is different than an issue with arm strength. That might be why there is such a big gap between you and the consensus on the topic of arm strength, maybe when you watch more of him you will start to see that.
I tend to not be too far off on the general opinion of Darnold, it is just more about his mental makeup than arm talent. There really are only a handful of posters that are high on him and a couple I don't know much about as they seem to be newer. As I pointed out already most fans view him as a stop gap until JJ is ready, that's why a majority of fans don't see us as a playoff team this year either. It all comes down to JJ's development on if we will have a long term answer at QB or not.
If you understand why backing up your statement with the consensus is meaningful, apply that to everything discussed about JJ lol. The consensus on the guys you are talking about is that their arm strength is a positive attribute, many refering to JJ's as great in reports. That wouldn't be the case if it was just average. There are certainly other issues these QB's have but you chose a really bad aspect to focus on and then seemed to just make up nonsense about Vikings fans when it was responded to (with evidence contrary to your claims).
Having an average arm for a NFL QB is not a bad thing. Drew Brees, Big Ben, Matt Ryan, and Philip Rivers all had average arms. If McCarthy has anywhere near the career of any of those cats you should be pretty pleased with what the future holds.
Glad we agree that Sam Darnold sucks. lol😌
No one is rattled that a Packers fan who doesn't seem to know what is actually being said and admittedly hasn't watched much of JJ thinks. The consensus analysis differs greatly from your random opinion and nothing at all has been provided to back it up. There has been tons provided that contradicts what you are saying as well. You aren't even really trying to discuss that stuff, I responded with a specific breakdown related to what you said and you didn't read it. Thats why the agenda here couldn't be more obvious and that is what many of us Vikings fans are actually calling out. An admittedly ignorant packer fan on this topic spewing nonsense just to get a rise.
It's not the end of the world or anything, some Vikings fans do similar stuff. It's just being called for what it is and no matter how you try to spin it that won't change what everyone can see.
