I don’t know. Many of the best college QBs in history ended up being busts and some who were marginal at best in college ended up being elite. I’m sure some data is relevant in some cases but I don’t see much good otherwise.
But I’m open to discussing it. What are the things you are referring to which are measurable in college that carry over to the pros?
I get that but it seems to me like it’s all still a crap shoot. Like last year there were Young, stroud, Levi’s, hooker and Richardson. Out of those 5 young was the best, then Stroud and the others second tier. It looks like stroud will surpass Young and it also looks like Levis might be as good as young. It will be fun to watch the class develop. Over the years there have been many college quarterbacks who were record breaking that wash in the nfl. It’s such a tough thing to predict because you can’t read minds and the mental part is so very important. Actually look at Trevor Lawrence. He was regarded as as generational QB in college when he beat Alabama. His pro career hasn’t been so good
