Like I said I don’t care who try to switch opinions. You always been having Kirk back and you the only one I am coming to and admitting I was wrong about Kirk too. See you never wavered and stick to your view. That why I always respected what you say. Rather I agree or not because loyalty is big to me and you stayed loyal. Kirk was playing well before injury. I was hoping this was the year he proved me wrong.
It's not about having Kirks back. It's about understanding that while important, the QB is only one part of the giant machine called a team. And the QB will only go as far as the team takes him. I figured it out years ago. Some people never will. Oh they will claim that no one blaming Cousins, but yet they constantly say, "he can't get it done". You know who else couldn't get it done? Dan Marino. Marino had 4 top 10 defenses in his career. And only made it to the Super Bowl once with a 7th-ranked defense. Otherwise, his career is one of a 3-point difference per game. Not something you win the Super Bowl on. Now, you get to 6 or 7 points a game on a regular basis, there is no reason to not be in the Big game. Other than you suck. NFL history is full of guys playing well but only have a 3-point difference in games. Look at just about any QB that made it to the Super Bowl and they will be around 7-8 points per game up during the season. Not 3. You only win with 3 if your Defense kicks ass in the playoffs. See Eli.
But remember, I don't know what I'm talking about. It's all on the QB.
