Just stay consistent throughout a game and not take plays off which it seems to me we do more than other teams.
I'm not sure anyone takes plays off, but the team tends to totally disappear/fall asleep far too often. That's why we've been so fortunate to play injured and/or struggling teams. Better teams would have had the game out of reach by the time we woke back up, like Philadelphia.
The good thing is: so far, the whole league is largely "meh." Even the AFC isn't as scary as once thought. The NFC is weaker than I ever remember, and the AFC has fewer "good" teams than the "on paper" experts told us to start the season.
I think the Vikings CAN BE good, but we aren't yet. Not even close. Will we figure it out before other teams do? That's the question. I'd have more confidence if we were at least seeing steady improvement. But it's more of the same: winning ugly, of course, but letting lesser teams hang around due to our disappearing act on offense, defense, or both.
Speaking of confidence, I wish our team played with more of it. More confidence and urgency. Does anyone have an ounce of swagger/confidence other than Z. Smith? Jefferson has some swagger when he gets going, and of course he has the griddy when he scores, but other than that ... ? I'm not saying I want them to be cocky pricks, but how about being more confident and aggressive? ...anyone? Don't wait for the other team to give you the game; go out and effing take it and never look back! We're the Vikings, for Pete's sake!
