PPA Contest Predictions Thread - 2021 Regular Season

I will kick things off with a few predictions:

Justin Jefferson will finish as a top 5 fantasy WR in 2021.
Garrett Bradbury will officially bust - he will finish in the bottom 10 PFF centers in 2021.
Patrick Jones will finish the 2021 season with at least 5 sacks.

Also I am preparing a PPA 2020 Recap article that will be out soon that will recount the "best of" and "worst of" from our pool of predictions. Look forward to that!

Also, here's how the 2021 standings lay out at the moment. It's obviously early, but a few users have sprung to the top:



legendsofthenorth is off to a fast start, going 6 for his first 11 and hitting a double and 2 triples. .278% as a group is a notable increase. Keep it up, everyone!

Having coached rec youth basketball for years in a league where equal playing time is mandatory, almost every lineup I would put out would have 3 good players and 2 developing ones, until the final 5 minutes when I would put out my 5 best. Typically the 3 good players playing with the 2 developing ones would actually look better playing with the bad players as they were asked to do more and looked better in comparison to the 2 newer players on the floor. When the 5 best were out there most of them would look worse, because it wasn't the 2 new players making the mistakes, missing shots or turning it over, it was them. There is always a weak link, and teams will attack that weak link. If Bradbury was getting attacked on an offensive line with two bad guards, he was that weak link.

I didn't ask you about coaching rec basketball but thanks for the insight. My point of the matter was having two players on a 5 man unit you're playing on and two players suck.  Your team usually gets their ass kicked time and time again. Whether that be basketball, volleyball or 5 aside short field soccer. I take it most on here have played sports and have a vague idea what I'm getting at.

At no point am I suggesting that Bradbury has been a elite center the past 2 seasons because he's not. He has had some of the worst guards playing alongside him during his career so far and I for one believe it correlates to some of his play.      

I always look good!    

The bottom line is that Bradbury has had crappy guards playing with him. That's not an excuse it's a fact. There's still legitimate concerns with his anchor and pass pro. His run blocking is above average they say but you can't be one-dimensional. Will his game improve with better guards? We're gonna find out real soon. 

Ok ok..........I predict Garrett Bradbury will be a top center this season!!

Alright, saw this last year and was intrigued. So here are a few of my predictions for 2021:

Vikings win the division

Vikings will have 12+ wins this year

CeeDee Lamb will be a top 5 fantasy WR

Coach Nagy will not be employed by Chicago at the end of the season.

Vikings finish with a top 3 defense
