Not a very convincing article by Braun.

He starts out with 3 tweets, one from Brandon Thorn dated Mar 8 2019 from Brandons' scouting film, one from Brian Baldinger dated Aug 14 2019, and one from Nick Olsen dated Nov 13 2019.

So all the "quotes" about how good Bradbury is are from 2019, early in the season and one from his draft scouting report. Braun couldn't find anything from 2020 or later?

So when you look at it like that, maybe the Vikings picked the right guy, but he has been screwed up by poor coaching?
Or maybe Braun couldn't be bothered looking any harder.

I have a subscription to Brandon Thorns website "Trench Warfare" and value his work. I have reached out to him and asked for his opinion on how he thinks Bradbury is developing. Will share his thoughts when he replies.

big thing I took out of it was his first point in that Bradbury can be tasked to handle tougher assignments and take a load off of his guards... if that's what the Vikings were doing last year, it might lend itself to the idea that better guard play will immensely help Bradbury. That's my hope at least, but in all I tended to agree with your take. It really wasn't a very convincing article.

I would normally agree with this, but Davidson is reportedly making plays....I can't say I have heard that about previous projects. Likely you are correct, but there is a glimmer of hope here

I didn't see anything in print saying he punted, would be cool to have a guy back there kicking who could actually run for a first down when the opportunity arose.

And I agree with the pipe dream premise, I'm just hoping Rick actually hit on this one. Definitely a long shot and the odds are stacked against him.

Actually serious question...he was an excellent punter in college, and imagine having an excellent athlete back there for fakes. Probably won't happen if they are putting all effort into polishing him to be a receiver.

If he's going to play TE, his blocking has to develop more than his receiving. Maybe they should throw him into the WR3 mix, the more the merrier..

Check out Bradbury on this play look closely. He plays hell of weak, hope he improves he is on the ground a lot. He has to get stronger and hold his ground and stay on his feet, this play worked but he still lost his rep. At 26 running out of time to improve a ton. This a huge year for him year 3, this the leap year if it is going to happen. Dennison sucks as a coach, but this is not on a coach. It is up to him not to keep getting knocked on his ass on pass blocking.

Elflein Junior when it comes to pass blocking straight up awful. The film don't lie he blows at pass blocking. Only way great OGs can help save him is if they do all the work for him in the passing game he is wack.

They are simply taken the wrong guys Erik McCoy should have been the guy. Younger, stronger, better. We will have a new center soon, his 5th year option won't get picked up. Put that in the prediction vault and stamp it.

Cook is better than Kamara as a pure RB to me. Kamara hasn't even gotten 1,000. He is good but we want more of a grinder type than a gimmick type. Cook a better fit for what we like to do in the running game. Book not better than Mond. They had Garrett Grayson once in RD3 and he sucked. They not perfect on picking QBs neither.

Some not as deep with it like us chat. We be knowing most the guys coming in. If we never heard of a guy it is rare. I will go out on a limb and say Mond was the better choice.

Well, I intended to set off some debate with Cook v Kamara. That comment is more my memory - the first two years, Kamara looked like the better weapon if only by staying healthy.

As for Book...well, I said I feared that outcome. I don't expect it. But most people thought Bradbury was far better than McCoy, too. It just irritates me when that hated team gets the better player.
