A. Rodgers...Predictions?

Its hard to debate with kids. Check your facts Manning was in the league a decade 10yrs before Rodgers ever touched the field in 2008 FACTS, look it up. After that Manning missed a year and was a shell of himself the last few. He was  a Hall of Famer before you put Erin boxers in your mouth a sniffed them try again

lol yeah it's pretty obvious I don't actually believe that. I hate to just look at individual player stats when it's a team game and there can be some team dynamics/variables at play with QB stats like Aaron Rodgers or any other QB. I hate to break this to everyone but it's probably impossible to name any one QB as the objective GOAT. There absolutely WILL be some subjectivity to that discussion, as there should be.

Okay, so Manning was only not as statistically good as Rodgers because of his era, but then the moment they overlapped each other for nearly an entire decade, Rodgers was only better because Manning was older?

I never said Elway wasn't good but he's hardly even top 5 of his era statistically.

Stats are a reflection of what happens on field. You realize this?

I never called anyone the GOAT, though I did point out Rodgers is statistically the best QB of all time, pending Mahomes.

Okay, but it's not just the era, because Elway had numerous QBs from his era who played better and put up better numbers. Marino, Favre, etc. I never said he wasn't good, but he has no claim to the top 5 in literally any way.

Cycle at least we agree that Mond has upside. Maybe that can be a good omen for him, we need that LOL!

Pff.com is my source.  Most people don't have access to it, so I don't bother to link it.  Others on this site do though, and will correct me if I am lying, which I am not.   I don't make things up like "Amendola and Welker had successful careers before and after Brady".  I said "graded" and most fans of football know what that means by now.  If you want pass blocking efficiency, they were also never bottom 5 with Rodgers at QB.


When down multiple scores teams pass 70% on average last year, scored a TD on 4% of their plays and picked up 5 yards per play. When up by multiple scores, they passed 43% of the time, scored a TD on 3% of plays and picked up 3.7 yards per play.

When teams need to score more they pass more, pick up more yards and score more TDs on average. That is an indisputable fact.  

If raw stats are all that matter, Drew Brees is the greatest QB of all time. Since 2007, Brees leads all QBs in TDs, yards and completion percentage. Brady is #2 in TDs and #5, ahead of Rodgers in yards. In fact, Rodgers isn't #1 in any stat during that time period. Top 10 in every important one but not #1 in any.  If raw stats were all that matters the Lions would have had to give up 2 1st round picks to get Jared Goff for Matt Stafford, not get them.  

I think you are being overly sensitive on this because you know that when all is said and done, Brady will be #1 on everyone's greatest QBs of all time lists, and Rodgers probably won't even be in the top 10.
