Adams could be on his way out after 2021 without Rodgers. I honestly think GB could finally be on the way down, it only took 30 freaking years🤬🤬🤬
The bad: it may force GBs hand to do what it takes to appease both, because losing both of them is clearly a huge deal. So it may push GB to resolving it and doing what it takes to keep them. Maybe even firing their GM. Who knows.
Maybe, but I think one of the issues with Rodgers that no one seems to talk about is that Rodgers is a narcissist. He cut his whole family off and out of his life, he seems to get upset when things don't go his way and can't handle not being coddled. I'm sure there's a big part of him that hates that Favre went to 2 SB's as a Packer and he's only gone to one. He wanted/wants to be mentioned as better then Favre and it eats him up that he isn't considered better by everyone, hence why he wanted offensive weapons because as much success the Packers have had he knows it's going to be hard to move the ball with only 1 legit weapon outside to throw to and that team has been manhandled in b2b NFCC games. I think he'd rather take his ball and go home rather then face the fact that Favre was the better QB or that the argument could be made that Rodgers isn't as successful or loved as Brett was. Yes Favre was booed and there were some craziness when he joined Minnesota but if Bud Grant became the HC of GB in 1983 people in Minnesota would've booed him too.
This is just a theory about wanting to be more successful then Favre but it doesn't mean I'm wrong. Maybe the Favre thing isn't #1 but I'd bet money somewhere in his mind he'd love to have 1 more ring then him whether that in GB or somewhere else.
