Really? They waived their starting LT, their most solid performer since he joined the team. I know, they drafted a couple linemen, but make no mistake: Darrisaw will have to exceed what is typical for his draft position to even be as good as Reiff in his rookie year.

I can't disagree with you on Reiff, he's been fantastic, but understand the reason to move on. contractually plus his ceiling is his ceiling. Going in for the 3rd best LT in the 1st round of a strong crop of LT's available, is a strong move IMO plus others mixed with last year. i think this helps immediate (to throw Darrisaw in as starter) and long-term too. if he don't pan out he don't pan out, but the effort was made to get him and that's what i can support for now

With Rodgers returning they are rightfully the top pick for our division. With or without him it really doesn't effect our chances...imo. We were more likely to have been the top team of a weak division without him. Maybe now we are a good W/C team. Aside from the one guaranteed home playoff game we won't improve our "win it all" chances till we prove we can consistently beat good teams. You need to beat a few of them in a row to win it all. Sorry I don't see us as there yet. Seeing is believing.

So I'm going into this season as hopeful we are a good team but refuse to go as far as believing we are a realistic "win it all" team. Just to add though. If we can't at least be good it will be bad.

If being a Viking fan was easy ~ everyone would do it.

Lack of a job didn't hurt. I'm not sure he shouldn't have been retained anyway. Good fit here.. He has a good year he will most likely be gone again.

Yet you do it all the time. So I take it our players know talent so does our HC and GM yet it never shows on the field. Obviously you have more trust then brains. 🙄
