We're rebooting the Purple Pain Accountability Contest in this new thread for the 2021 offseason. Post your predictions here! Any predictions about the 2021 offseason, regular season, post season, or 2022 and beyond are welcome!

Predictions will be tracked here: Tracker

For those who might need some ideas for coming up with predictions, here's a list to start:

Who the Vikings will draft
What position the Vikings will draft
Predict which round a prospect goes in
Predict where a free agent will sign
Predict a trade
Predict the size of a free agent's next contract

For more ideas, here are some 2021 predictions that are on the board:

legendsNorth - Diggs will be Traded from Buffalo before the 2021 season
indianaVikes - Vikings will select Trevor Lawrence in 2021
Danchat - The WFT will draft Justin Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Danchat - The Vikings will once again make at least 15 draft selections in the 2021 draft.
DrankBaby! - Vikings will cut Cousins before his 2022 guaranteed money kicks in.
Danchat - The Cowboys will sign Dak Prescott to a multi-year deal by the start of the 2021 regular season.
LegendsNorth - Vikings will Trade back twice in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
LegendsNorth - Everson will again be a Viking in 2021
LegendsNorth - I predict cap will be above 190M next year
Giveu1guess- If we keep both RickyBobby and Zimmy, we will not win more than 6 games next season.
Raptorman - Rick will trade down with the 1st round pick
blindguy - Vikings have a top 5 defense in 2021.
Aussie - WR DeVonta Smith will be the 3rd pick in the draft and reunite with Tua.
Ocampo82 - Vikes draft Trey Lance.

The Vikings surprise and take a QB sometime in the first 3 rounds

The 2021 squad makes the playoffs and exits in the first round

The Vikings OL will take a massive step forward and be a middle of the pack unit due to an aggressive FA move to solve LG, retaining Reiff, and guys stepping forward.

The Vikings defense will improve on it's ranking, but it will fall short of being a top 10 unit.

Danchat, is predicting a cousins trade a home run pick? I might toss that out even though I don't think it will happen :)
