A couple names to keep an eye on for the Vikings. Not super familiar with Matt Feiler, so will need to do a little more reading.
There's a good possibility that some team offers him low-end starting RT money which would probably put him out of our price-range. If he's only commanding backup OT money (which ranges anywhere between $3m - $6m per season), then he could certainly be a stop-gap player while we potentially develop a LG.
One problem with Feiler is that he suffered a pectoral injury at the tail-end of the 2020 season and given the Viking's history of OL players not coming back very well from those types of injuries, that is a major concern, especially for anyone playing inside at OG where you need a bit more use of your power pectoral muscles.
One of the sites I follow, Steelers Depot - which is a really good site, had this to say about Feiler in early January after the Steeler's season ended (link):
While Feiler played generally serviceably at left guard, it hasn’t been his best season. Upon my personal observation, he seemed to find more success at right tackle. Earlier this season, he even acknowledged that it had been a bit of a process to make that change, even tough he had prior experience playing guard—his first start even coming at right guard.
At this point, I'm leaning a bit more towards LA Chargers OG Forrest Lamp if the Chargers don't bring him back. He had a bad injury history to start his career (2017/2018 were riddled w/ injuries) and 2020 was the first season he started all 16 games and even though the Chargers OL needs a complete overhaul to protect their young QB, Lamp was one of the few decent spots and it looks like his best football is ahead of him. He shouldn't command much on the open market and the Vikes did show interest in him during the 2017 pre-Draft process and they typically do circle back around to players they showed interest in.
