I have a question which needs answers

Ok, admittedly I've gone against my top-down advocacy here.

I've always said hire the new GM and then let him find a new HC..... but, obviously I've centered it on the duo of Harbaugh as HC (due to nfl playoff proven success as HC) and Lance as QB.

The GM (would be Moriarty) is the guy who would go best (since Baalke had a falling out with Harbaugh) with that duo.

So yes, I've made an exception from the top-down approach here.

I think you guys are being WAY too harsh on Harbaugh. Take a look at his history as NFL HC.....

No, you've never explained the latter part of the bolded portion.  Not once.

I've seen you rip into criticism of Zimmer at least that many times, and NONE of your Leave Mikey Alone! posts have ever gone beyond 'Zimmer's a good coach because he coaches good, and something something ANDY REID!!!'

Your defense of Zimmer has ALWAYS been subjective, and there isn't a more lazy narrative than 'Zimmer is the right guy to coach the Vikings because I haz the feelz he is!!!   And post your alternative that I've already decided to hate, so I can rant about it instead, Mister!'

Oh, and maybe you could include a few more condescending "y'all"s in you posts, just to make sure that nobody misses your abject contempt for any argument against retaining Zimmer 

With Pierce opting out and Barr & Hunter out for the year with injuries and with how young our CB unit is i actually think Zimmer was giving a pass as long as the team looked competitive this year which they have. Now i think 2021 is a make or break year and if the team doesn't make a deep playoff run and/or win a division title Zimmer could be on the hot seat.

Pierce and Barr aren't irreplaceable stars, and a top GM/HC combo shouldn't suffer a serious setback from losing them.

Hunter was a major loss, but the organization expended a second round pick to rent what should have been an above-average player to replace him.

So in reality, a championship-caliber franchise would have only experienced two minor setbacks and one serious loss, but a loss made manageable with a costly trade.

If losing Hunter, Barr, and Pierce was really "Game Over" for 2020 in the minds of the Wilfs, then that's just more evidence that they're conceding that the primary (or sole?) purpose of the Vikings franchise is to make them more money.

It also means that despite your idea that 2021 will be 'make or break' for Zimmer, there almost certainly will be significant personnel turnover and injuries next year, like there are almost every year...  so there will be an excuse to give Zimmer, Spielman and Co. a pass next year too, and potentially beyond.

You think the idea of firing Zimmer is new? Ha. I could show you old threads dozens of pages deep. Yes, actually, I have explained several times of why he's a good coach and deserves to stick around. Why I believe in him. Shared all kinds of stats, articles, film study, context... It got exhausting. I've been working all shifts, and 50-60 hours a week for five months now. It's a miracle I post as much as I do now! Sorry you aren't satisfied. Also, sorry you don't have more pro-Zimmer people to play with.

But, really, what's the point anymore? I did it in the OG Is Zimmer A Good Coach? thread; not gonna do it in every anti-Zimmer thread that has popped up since then. Ain't got that kind of time. Try being in the minority one time with an opinion. It's extremely time-consuming. lol. You think I'm the only one who likes Zimmer? I'm not. The others just don't bother anymore. Which is sad, for several reasons. Several good posters don't bother to come around anymore, because anything remotely positive is met with angry piranhas. lol. I'm just one of the few strong enough to take it. Others really don't wanna read constant doom and gloom. Not in 2020. It's just exhausting! Truthfully, even if I felt it was time to move on from Zimmer, I wouldn't mention it every week. Just as I don't mention keeping him around every week. Some discussions are going nowhere. I should have skipped past this one today. Silly me!

Also, literally 90% of your posts are to remind us that no GM/HC combo has won a Super Bowl this late in the game. It's like clockwork. In comes Longship with the same story, so, that's an interesting criticism about me being repetitive. lol.

Lastly, when I say "y'all", it's generally playful and friendly. Good Lord. "Y'all be cray!" Settle down.

Yannick was supposed to replace Griffin not Hunter, yes Pierce was a irreplaceable star for us concidering we dont have another true NT to stop the run. Zimmer likes to run his defense with CB & NT as his two major factors. Barr might be replaced but the guy filling in for him is a FA after the year so maybe Barr will return. To say those 3 being out and a young CB unit hasn't cost us 2-3 games already is blind Zimmer hate or something. If those 3 are here we beat Seattle & Dallas and maybe Tenn too
