This answer is easy. The firing has to be a package deal, or if one of them gets canned before the other, it has to be Spielman first. If they only fire Zimmer, then Spielman gets to pick the next HC and gets to continue shopping for the groceries. Not good. If they fire Spielman, the new GM is going to want hire his own HC so that means Zims days would be numbered. But I would prefer they both get fired at the same time. Hopefully they're left in Detroit at the end of the season. Rick can go beg his brother for a new job then.
I guess we're stuck with Cousins for another 2 years no matter what, so I don't even know the point of anything right now. Would a new GM cut him and eat the cap hit? Would the new coach bench him regardless of what he's making? Rick should be fired for the original contract he let Cousins have, then he should disappear Hoffa style because of the extension.
But yeah, speaking of the Lions, have you heard the good news? I just heard there's another Spielman in a front office position. Chris Spielman is now a "special assistant" to the Lions owner, whatever the hell that means lol. If he's anything like his brother then I guess the Lions are doubling down on staying awful.

Please not another guy off the booth from a TV network..... and preferably also not Rick's right hand man.......
