At the draft, Zim made a snide comment about you had 15 of these things in reference to draft picks.

It's also known Zimmer blames everyone and thing on others. I doubt Zimmer would spend a dime on a QB so I'm sure he hates Kirk's deal. Teddy is/was the only QB he has ever publicly pulled for. Rick has always made head scratchers so I don't see much difference in his approach. Since we will never know who wanted what on draft day I will say Zimmer got a bunch of guys he wanted or he's lied about it. I know he has had enough given for the results we got on the first rebuild. The OL and QB situation are still that and I'm not sold on Kubiak's system vs better teams. We know Zimmers D folds like a tent. If there's that big of an issue and the Wilfs don't handle it then they can be blamed as well.

Zimmer wanted Barr, still does it seems. He has a lot of influence on who we draft. As to them not liking each other.. I remember an article way back about how they bonded, were coaches sons, chewed tobacco together watching film every Monday, etc.

Narratives are just that. Maybe the guy who said in that article that Zim sh*ts on Rick overheard an aggressive joke between them. We don't know. Someday when it all falls to pieces we might. Till then it's all just noise with little signal.

I wonder who's idea it was to let Keenum walk after leading his team to the NFCCG? Zimmer certainly didn't show much support for the man during the season, so to say that Zimmer didn't want a high priced diva in the QB position, would we assume that it was Ricks decision? Or did they both agree?

I've said it many times, Zimmer is not a HC and I'm questioning his defensive acumen as well. I mean, seriously, was he pissed that Schurmer was successful with Keenum? He clearly doesn't like to be challenged...

When we went 5-0 to start 2016 he was at the Friday presser and super arrogant and rude to the media. I was a bit shocked. You won a few games dude, not the SB. Utter lack of humility.

Two days later they lay an egg at Philly and he calls them soft in public...wtf kind of hc does that? I eventually viewed the eye problems as karma while 5-0 turned into 8-8. Anyone should have been able to see right there that he is not up to the job.

There were other weird signs like the stuffed animals in the locker room thing, the goofy t-shirt bit, db's going rogue, the ouevre of he coaches defense and offense is not his problem. The act wore thin for me long ago.

I hope that is not the case, my way or the highway. You have to make adjustments, that did Chilly in. Where there is smoke there is 🔥. Is this a sign of things to come? We better win or it might get ugly quick. Being adaptable is key as head coach.
