If you don't care much about what he did with another team, then you must be a huge Keenum fan. With that stance, logically I'd expect you to be very disappointed that Keenum wasn't retained after the season he had with us......
We'll never know how Bridgewater or Keenum would've done under DeFiilippo. My guess would be failure for both QBs or any QB for that matter. Unlike the 2017 season when we had a running game, in 2018 we had the worst running game thanks to Compton and Remmers. Back in 2017 Shurmur/Sparano were getting it done with a balanced offense and Keenum took advantage of it. Good season.
If Keenum (as a Viking, since you said you don't care how he played with other teams...which I agree with btw) was not the best option for 2018 and beyond in your eyes.... why was Kirk a better option? There must be something meaningful about Kirk to move on from the guy who led us to a good season. So what is it? What exactly does Kirk excel at? What are the exact attributes which make him a clearly better option?
