I get what you’re saying. I think GMs can tend to overcorrect when they’ve made a mistake (aka picking a speedster instead of a treadwell type), but I also think this is selling Reagor short. Dude is nasty and reminds me a lot of Deebo Samuel, who had similar concerns but balled out last year. Also, the draft I made is largely based on rumors I have aggregated. Reagor is one of the guys with potential to sneak into rd 1. I haven’t heard much buzz about Tee being a first rounder as of late. Sounds like he’s been passed even by guys like Pittman.

It's all good, I understand you were working with rumors and running with it. For what it's worth Higgins is my WR13, Reagor is WR10 in my rankings. I've watched a ton of film on WR this year and Reagor is absolutely not worth a first round pick in my opinion. I understand real teams may feel differently, GM's ALWAYS fall in love with guys who have good ceilings, even if they aren't the most polished currently. I'm just the opposite, I prefer guys who are already good route runners like Michael Pittman, my WR6.

I guess what I'm saying is I don't mind what you did here, I just had a good laugh thinking about the logic, humans are such flawed decision makers and Spielman doesn't have a good track record with first round WR's so there's plenty of reason to think he might be thinking like this! *thumb_up*

Austin Gayle: Terrell isn't as sexy as some of the other cornerback prospects with better ball production (Jeff Gladney, Kristian Fulton, Trevon Diggs), but he is still a smooth-moving cornerback with desirable match-and-mirror ability. His game against LSU's Ja'Marr Chase was one to forget, but he was at the catch point on several of his losses in coverage and showed high-end potential on several of his reps.

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS — WR MICHAEL PITTMAN JR., USC
Austin Gayle: Pittman isn't in the same league as a separator as the receiver Minnesota traded away in Stefon Diggs, but he's a better separator than he's given credit for considering his size (6-foot-4, 223 pounds). He and Adam Thielen make up for a duo quarterback Kirk Cousins should be able to rely on in 2020. Both receivers are as sure-handed as they come with plus ability in contested-catch situations.

22. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (VIA BUFFALO BILLS) — WR TEE HIGGINS, CLEMSON

The Vikings need a defensive tackle, a cornerback (or two) and a wide receiver now that Stefon Diggs is in Buffalo. But while South Carolina’s Javon Kinlaw is likely the best player here, Clemson’s Tee Higgins is my choice.

The Vikings have made a living off contested catches by Diggs and Adam Thielen, and Higgins will fit right into that mold. Watching him dunk a basketball, he has to be at least a foot over the rim. An A.J. Green style of player, he was Tennessee’s Mr. Football and was heavily recruited in basketball.

His 27 touchdowns at Clemson tied DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins for most in a career, and Higgins had 13 scores in his final year. At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, he can be physically dominant in the red zone — he catches the ball cleanly and is often the single receiver in 3×1 sets, which gives him a lot of one-on-one routes. With Higgins’ fades and back-shoulder catch radius, he is a lot for any cornerback to handle. Higgins didn’t run the 40, so I always assume the worst, but if he runs close to a 4.5 he could be a steal here for the WR-needy Vikings.

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS — DI JAVON KINLAW, SOUTH CAROLINA

I have Kinlaw falling to No. 25, which will surprise most.

At 6-foot-5 and 324 pounds, he is about the same size as Derrick Brown, who went in the top 10. Kinlaw, however, may very well end up being a better pass-rusher than Brown, which will move the needle for PFF and GMs around the league.

Kinlaw has a few concerns for me, though. He lost 40 pounds coming from junior college, and sometimes those pounds have a way of coming back. He also missed the bowl game with hip surgery, had knee tendinitis at the Senior Bowl and has struggled to take on double teams despite his size.

Kinlaw just plays too high to be a major factor at the next level. Mike Zimmer, however, has a way of getting maximum production out of defensive linemen with his tough-love approach. The Vikings need a cornerback badly, but Kinlaw will never fall below here. He just has too much size and raw talent.

Interesting mock draft. Give it a look.

Johnson is Mike Zimmer’s type of cornerback with how feisty he plays the game. He’s not only an in-your-face physical press corner at the line, but he’s also instinctive in off-coverage, as well.

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS — BRANDON AIYUK, ARIZONA STATE

Aiyuk is a YAC monster who can separate down the football field. Vikings fans might get Cordarrelle Patterson flashbacks, but Aiyuk has been a more physical route-runner already.

Not a fan. I don't hate the safety at #58, but I want to see Harris get his extension. Wanogho would be a great pick at #89, but I would note like Harrison at #105 at all. We don't need LBs and run-stopping LBs like Jefferson aren't valuable whatsoever. We've already burned picks on run stopping LBs like Gedeon and Cameron Smith in previous drafts who are similar to Harrison.
