I'm so over the VIkings and thinking late January already. Now it's about denying Green Bay yet another Super Bowl, so it was important for the 49ers to win tonight. I think GB is the most overrated team in the playoffs. They're about a half notch better than us and that's in the coaching staff. This year is so crazy there's just no real way to say from week to week other than Minnesota can't beat a winning team. 9ers and Hawks already played a playoff game tonight so I think they have a disadvantage lucky they have the Eagles. I was hoping the Hawks pulled it out that was our only hope. NO I just don't see a win unless they just collapsed with over confidence. They are already mad because of a 13-3 record being a 3 seed.

That is the point. There is no way to change it next year. 2021 is the year for major change. I want a new GM and HC so they can start the new era in 2020. It's already a year I have no expectations for. Again if we had some cap room I could see a faster turn. We are stuck next year and it won't be pretty and there will be change and it won't be better but cheaper that is the only option.

One can dream. I don't see it. If they felt threatened I doubt they start all BU today. They will get their full extension to end 2020. I don't like it but that's what I feel.

I completely agree. I've been saying it since week 4. They're a 9-7 team at best, especially without all the ref help, but somehow they keep finding ways to win. A 13-3 team that only outscored it's opponents by 63 points this year. Out of they 79 teams who have finished 13-3 or better since 1978, that's the worst ever. So they're literally the worst 13-3 team ever. The 1999 13-3 Titans held the record at 68, but they somehow got to the Super Bowl.

What if zimmer doesnt want a 1 year extension...what if he wants 5? What if he gets offered and 1 says no. He cannot go into next year a lame duck. Nor should he. I think it get interesting either way after next week.

I was trying to see any way we can beat the better teams and I honestly just don't see how. I would say the NFC has 3 legit teams and the AFC as well and I don't see Minnesota coming close to any of the 6. I see maybe 3 teams they could beat but not sure if it would be a consistent win just a lucky win here or there.

I would love to see us knock GB out I just don't see how we get the chance. We are lined up if a miracle happened.

Yes he will the wilfs Picked up the option last year so he will play it out. There will be no advantage for cutting ties even if we want them to. No new GM and HC want the issue with what would be on their laps for 2020.

I think he only gets extended if he wins a playoff game, and that should be the only reason. But even if he gets extended another year just to avoid the lame duck, it doesn't mean he can't be fired at the end of next year anyway. I don't think Zygi wants to make another Childress mistake, so I could see him making Zim coach as a lame duck next year if we go 1-and-done in another ugly playoff loss.

Wrong they did it to line all 3 up. They did it so if it worked out they would be able to extend them all and if it didn't they will all be gone and a new GM and HC can build a roster with a new QB. It makes sense even if I don't want them here.
