Welcome to the Divisional Playoff edition of EFF.
In reading through the forums,I have come to the conclusion that Trump has built a wall a little further North than originally intended.

How are the Vikes the best D? They are good but they are no Jags. I watched the Jags maul the hell out of teams all season. They are not that team. Thielen also gets shutdown by good CB's. He's no Michael Thomas that's for damn sure. Oh, and they lost to the Panthers so not buying any of their BS hype. They are no better than us right now. Probably worse though because their QB has no playoff experience and is known to blow big games. Reason why he is a backup after being a starter and only a starter by default. He won't be a starter next year after tanking this game because that is what backups do.
They are so butt hurt its truly sad. Just look at any sports blog that has comments. They are everywhere..like get over it already. Buncha winey b!tches!
I think you are correct - my fear is (for me) that we may pay... for me - all bets are off (for NOLA SAINTS) when facing Minneapolis in the post season.
For Minneapolis fans 2009 was not long ago. Their dome is comparable to ours - the fans will be fired up - it is loud in there - and it will cause problems.

Damn it sucks that peat went down, to me he was our best o line man this season. 😥 If we win this game the NFC championship game down here with Atlanta will be crazy, the rivalry will be at its peak like the stone cold vs the rock. Atlanta should take care of business against philly, they have no business losing that game after the way they handled the rams. To me the Vikings are our toughest opponent left in the playoffs, if we win this game there’s no doubt in my mind that we will go on to win the super bowl. So let’s get this win
1) Mike Thomas. Brees needs someone to throw to and MT is our best. I don't think y'all will fall for "I'm just Ginn, don't bother covering me"
2) Trenchwarfare. Saints need to get the run game going and Saints need to pressure Case. Cam actually had a decent game in Wk 1 but guess who else did? Everson Griffen. Our only solace is it was against Rookie Ram playing Left. It will be Hopefull Healthy Armstead this game. Got to slow him down.
3) Adam Theilen - Who the f*ck covers him? Do you give him to Latti? Is Crawley fast enough? Is ANYONE in Black and Gold fast enough? Stephon Diggs is a classical WR but Adam makes grown men look silly, we can't look silly.
4) Contain Case - Dude is sneaky fast (i.e. white) Mobile QBs worry me especially with the state of our LB corp and all the speed in the wide outs.
5) NUTZ OUT!!! Yall still rocking Kobra Kai as Kicker? Welp, his Jedi Padwan is here. With luck, this becomes a kickers contest and our Lutz is bigger than yours.

If we wear down their defense in keep our defense fresh we win the game. Carolina killed us in that category. That why the game was so close. Our defense got tired , other then that we blow the game out.

I just went through this with my Sooners against Georgia. Our offense was nuts with Baker Mayfield this year and we put it on Georgia in the first half. But they made adjustments at halftime and the OU offensive play calling went to poop too. Now it would have helped if the Sooners had some type of defense.
But in the end their defense did what they needed to do in the 2nd half and OT to win.

I agree, typically the dominant defense wins. This matchup reminds me a lot of Patriots & Ravens when Joe Flacco was in his first few years. Inexperienced quarterback and dominant defense was Baltimore/Vikings. Dominant quarterback/offense with mediocre defense Patriots/Saints.
the game last time wasnt that bad we just didnt get points when we got within 30 yardline need to get points and keep them from putting out big plays and it should be fine
Packers' fan checking in. Go Saints! Nothing would please me more than you guys taking care of the Vikings this week, take care of biz next week, and then win AGAIN in the Vikings home. All while Minnesota fans have to wallow in the lead up to the Super Bowl.
