Can we keep the winning streak alive? Let's take a look at what some of the Falcons fans are saying about just that. Who wins this? Your 9-2 Vikings or the 7-4 Falcons?

No video. Just heard him say it on NFL Total Access.
"The Vikings Will Dominate the Atlanta Falcons. The Mercedes Benz Dome is leaking; that offense and defense has been leaking all year; it will be worse than the Rams game."
"The Vikings Will Dominate the Atlanta Falcons. The Mercedes Benz Dome is leaking; that offense and defense has been leaking all year; it will be worse than the Rams game."
Very well could happen. Sure hope it doesn't. Our defense scares the **** out of me; I just don't trust it.
As much as I have my concerns week to week with how this team will perform I saw this and got GIDDY! Do we need someone to bump Heath’s history of predicting how we’ll perform?
Every year Heath wants the Falcons to lose to whoever the next up and coming team is. Last year...Falcons will lose to Seahawks in playoffs, then Falcons will definitely lose to Green Bay in NFCCG. We see how Heath's predictions have gone for him. Hopefully he keeps picking against the Falcons, because it seems to work in our favor.
Id definitely flip him the bird (pun intended)
He has such a punchable face.
It honestly can happen if there defense shuts down our offense. With that being said, their defense hasn’t performed nearly as well on the road compared to when they’re at home. They allow 20.4 ppg on the road, which isn’t a crazy high number, but keep in mind two of those games were against Cleveland’s trash offense and a bears offense with Trubisky’s first start. Browns put up 16, and bears put 17 respectively. Actual competent offenses put up 26, 30, and 23. I like our chances at home against this defense.
The problem won't be with the defense. The Vikings offense is Ok. They don't make many mistakes, but they aren't a scoring juggernaut either. The problem is the Falcons offense is inconsistent with the with VIkings D running on all cylinders. If Wes Shweitzer is even remotely leaky, expect Ryan to have a long day. The problem I would have with the Falcons D, is the same as last year; the Falcons O will keep going 3 and out against the Vikings D, and the Vikings offense will keep pounding and pounding and eventually where the Falcons D out, because the Falcons offense is unable to sustain a drive, and give the D a breather. Last time I checked the Vikings injury report, they are relatively healthy, except for their QBs and starting RB of course, but considering that Keenum is their 3rd stringer and they are using 2 backup RBs to split carries, their offense has still done well.
Vikings are a testament of having great depth.

Honestly, I'd never heard of this guy before seeing people making threads about him
on this board. I really couldn't care less about his predictions or whatever.
But to predict ANY team coming in and 'dominating' the Falcons is just stupid. The Falcons, before losing 'THE REMATCH' 23-7 this year, haven't been beaten by more than 10 points in two years. If fact, you have to go back to December THREE YEARS AGO to find the only two real blowout losses by Atlanta, and both of those were to Carolina, 38-0 in 2015, and 34-3 all the way back on 12/28/14.
Point is...the Falcons don't get 'dominated' except on the rarest of occasions. For gods sake, last year all five Falcon losses were by a TOTAL of 22 points. That's a number indicative of a very competitive team on a consistent basis.

In response to Vikings put 7-game winning streak on line against Falcons:
Three game lead in NFC North, Vikings may be on cruise control this game. Keep players healthy. Look for a big falcons win here.
They won't be because the Vikings are only one game behind the Eagles for 1st seed.
They would also like to retain the 2nd seed and a 1st round bye.
All of that stuff will still be in play over the next few weeks.

Yea Vikings could have HFA all the way through and including the Super Bowl. They are definitely not taking this lightly.
Honestly, I'm not fully sold on Keenum. I still think that he could end up being the Vikings weakest link before it's over.
If the Falcons pass rush could make Keenum feel pressure and force him to make mistakes. It could get really bad for him.

Yep his numbers are not any different than what Bradford was doing. He isn't anything special, just not making the mistakes.
I would feel much better about the game if the offensive line got Quinn’s memo about playing physical.
The way our OLine has been pushed around is pathetic In one game I think I saw Wes pushed up in the air as well as back.
This game will be won in the trenches and I expect to see Minnesota’s defensive line manhandle our O-line.

All the pressure is on the Vikings.

So MIN has the best WR duo in the NFL?....yeah, okay
Of the top 300 players in receiving yards, guess which one leads in fumbles?
Yep, it's Adam Thielen. (side note: you know what to do, Keanu)
I really don't see how Stefon Diggs, who hasn't had a 1000 yards or more than 5TDs in a season thus far in his career, is part of the "best WR duo in the NFL"
I know everyone is fixated on the passing game because of what Julio did last week, Try being out, and Keenum playing well recently... but it's a fool's errand to overlook the run game in this one. In the past few matchups against the Vikes, they totally ran all over our D & that was a huge part of them winning the last two.

In my opinion the Falcons should have Alford follow Thielen into the slot and play Goodwin on Diggs. Aflord actually played extremely well when matched up against Edelman in the SB. In fact, other than that ridiculous catch that Alford almost picked, Alford shut Edelman down completely.
Jones and Sanu or Thielen and Diggs... hmmmm
This strikes me as the kind of game that Julio will be quiet and our others guys will step up.
I could see us coming out and targeting Sanu and Gabriel and the RBs more in this game because I believe Julio will draw a lot of attention. I am sure he will have some one on ones with Rhodes but I expect to see plenty of safety help as well. Bottom line is this game will come down to the trenches. If we can protect Matt and run the ball just enough to keep them honest we should come out on top.

MIN is a heavy Cover 3 team
I assume though they will do their best to have Rhodes on a cloud with Julio. That’s why it’s so important for our run game to start up big. Otherwise Matt will have a hard 3 hours.

I think they are a Cover 1 and a Cover 3 team
And use their safetys in all sorts of cool ways to disguise coverages.

I'm hoping Marvin Hall is active so we have more speed available to stress their D vertically.
This might open up the underneath routes more, and we might catch a lucky touchdown pass deep down the field too.

The Buzz-Saw makes good defenses look not so good
And these guys will be no different. Don’t get me wrong, Minnesota actually has
a great defense. But I’ve seen what the Buzz-Saw does to good defenses. The
first thing it does to a good defense is, it frustrates’em. Good defenses are use
to having their way. The full effect Buzz-Saw is where we include everybody!
Which poses another quandary for a good defense, they just don’t know where
it will strike next. When you apply the Buzz-Saw for 4 full quarters … something
is going to collapse! In the last 5 min. the Minnesota "D" will collapse!

Looks like it will come down to who is executing the best, and who is improving the most from one week to the next.
Our O is improving each week now, I mean finally. It is close to being able to get back to 2016 levels. What I see as missing is more RB passes, and plugging Marvin Hall into the Aldrick Robinson role of 2016. Sark needs to expand his awareness and overview of what he has to work with. It looks like he is steadily moving in the right direction. Once he masters these last two components, I think we will be better than we ever were in 2016 because I like how he has added Poe and Garland to our goal to go short yardage O, and he has successfully done more with Sanu in the wildcat formation than KS ever did.

2 things
1. Pretty awesome that we have the same amount of sacks as them! Of course that cowboys game really helped!
2. Alex Mack continues to prove to be one of the best FA pickups Dimitroff has orchestrated!

The O-Line's gotta pick up the blitz on these big downs
That’s a big reason as to why they’re such a good defensive unit. Communication and cooperation along the line and Matt’s ability to get the ball out quickly will be key. If we do protect well, our offense will win the matchup.

Ryan clutch against the blitz..
Have you watched any blitz happy teams against him this season? Even the dolphins ransacked him for mostly 3 whole quarters. Vikings will thrash us. Some of us falcons fans get a bit delusional for no logical reason. You just believe sh*t will happen with no justifiable points of proof, that would be applicable to a game of this magnitude. Point in case, WE have not played a TEAM yet as good as the VIKINGS. Be ready at any moment to start heavily cursing this team out again and complaining about the results.. Its inevitable. I like logical fans on this fanbase. Not ones that basicly believe the mystical unicorn that grants wishes could possibly exist, you just dont know BS.
