The Colts have had a lot go down in the past few days. Are they more concerned with AR or the Vikes...?

What They're Saying...
The big story, of course:
One team captain couldn't believe the ping on his phone. Another called a front office member to ask if this was real. Another player heard directly from a heartbroken Anthony Richardson. How Colts players found out their franchise QB was benched.
This was before he got benched, but had to share this doozy:
Ouch!
And some others:
More optimism with Flacco?

So who would Flores rather play against this week, Richardson or Flacco?
My guess is that he would rather be playing against Richardson.

Why? They’ll get more sacks and picks against gramps Joe, and don’t have to worry about any qb runs.
I agree... Im guessing its a little easier to game plan for Joe.
Really be interesting to see what/where the running game goes now without AR.
If I recall they didnt even try to run the ball much with Joe at QB. Short passing game to Downs was the substitute.

He’s got a lot of physical talent, but he shows few signs of being able to harness them into a calm, confident and consistent QB. He calls himself a great passer, but his numbers say otherwise. The Colts have to consider the careers of there other players, who want to win. The team can’t keep babysitting AR. It’s a business, not a daycare.
I guess my wondering with that would be why are the drops primarily occurring when Richardson is QB? I keep hearing so much about that but wonder if touch and placement are a big factor and if there is a bit too much excuse making there. I saw some interesting statistics on that. I don't know the answer, just a wondering.
Michael Pittman has caught 63% of Joe Flacco’s passes compared to 58% (and 2 INTs) on throws by Richardson
Josh Downs caught 79% of Flacco’s passes compared to 50% by AR
AD Mitchell caught 43% of Flacco’s passes compared to 29% by AR
Alec Pierce is the one reversed, catching 44% by Flacco and 57% by AR.

Never thought in a million years that going into a game we could just count the L handed to us by Sam freaking Darnold.
The sick satisfaction I would get from watching this inept front office explain the loss. BURN THE BINDER!!!!
Oh hell yeah! Gonna get our asses WHOOPED!

Vikings score more points than the completion % number for AR is my guess.
And some others:
Ugh. I don’t even want to think about it. I imagine it will be a slaughter.
Angry Vikings team at home I don’t feel confident
Vikings 30
Colts 17
Vikings 30
Colts 17
No chance we're winning this.
I predict 90% of Colts fans watching turn off the game before the 4th quarter. Causing NBC's ratings to plummet.
Unless Sam Darnold crashes even more down to earth I don’t see how Colts win and move the ball they have a better defense than the Texans.
This game will probably be laughable - all our worst traits will get extra-exposed. Only hope to win is timely turnovers and defense playing lights-out. Defense has been better so the second part is more likely than the first part, but still unrealistic.
This is what expectations will be like for the remainder of the season. What I miss most from the Colts is expecting them to win. Now, it's come to this... One thing's for sure, teams tend to play to the level of the Colts, this season. Like some infectious illness. So, you never know. I haven't felt this way since the 80's and early 90's. I feel mostly bad for the fans that have to pay for this trainwreck and those that have work the next day.
More optimism with Flacco?
If Flacco plays
Colts 28
Vikings 24
Colts 28
Vikings 24
Prediction? Justin Jefferson has 200 yards by halftime 🤣
We were at the game when we blew a 33-0 half time lead. After that, I can't picture the Colts ever beating the Vikings. Vikes 28 Colts 20.
I bet Kevin O'Connell was less than thrilled when he heard that Flacco is QB1
I’m hoping for our Defense to have one of their best games. Have to rattle Darnold.
I will be at US Bank Stadium on Sunday Night. Really hoping Colts defense builds off of their play against the Texans, and the Colts OL keeps Flacco upright.
Still my prediction is Vikings 27 Colts 20 but a defensive TD from the Colts can swing things. However, on the road, a defensive TD from the Vikings is more likely.
Distractions affect football teams worse then injuries imo and this whole week has been a * circus. We also might be out our starting LT as well.
The Vikings defense is averaging like 4 sacks and 2 turnovers per game. They've also got 3 TDs in 7 games. If the Colts are missing their LT it could get pretty ugly. They already allowed pressure on 60% of dropbacks last week - pass protection hasn't been great. The main hope is that the vikings pass defense looks like it did last week. Vikings are also likely getting Hockenson back this week, and the Colts are (and seemingly always are) particularly poor at defense against TEs. I'd expect this game to look like the Jaguars game. I anticipate the Colts losing, but if the defense manages to play decently I could see them pulling off a win.
Lots of win-win games for Colts. If they can have a miracle and beat Vikings this weekend they would be back in playoff spot. Ravens and Broncos play. Jets could get pushed back farther if Texans beat them tonight. Chargers are playing Browns too. With Winston Browns can win that at home. Bengals will probably beat Raiders. They're the team to really watch.
Vikings are prone to giving up the big play on defense. TE will be much more involved with Flacco too.
I won't be watching Sunday. The whole point of this season was to watch this young man play and hopefully develop into something special. Giving up on him after 10 starts is ridiculous. I better hear nothing about the locker room having a problem with him tapping out, especially considering the effort displayed from this team throughout the season. Lackluster tackling effort and porous attempts at catching the ball. I hate that our organization is satisfied with incompetence and lack of direction.
Good move, he's clearly not a starting NFL calibre QB right now. Statistically he's one of the worst ever and he has made no progress/improvements since college. Don't quote me about development or lack of experience, AR's issue is a lack of skill. He doesn't have the skills to be a starting QB right now so let him sit, learn, and practice. Maybe he figures it out, maybe he won't but this is the NFL not a developmental d-league and you can't send out the worst QB in the league every week wondering whether he can complete passes.
And a lot more posts like this:
Please fire everyone in this clown show. Why draft the project QB and not let him get valuable playing time?
Wont be surprised at all if Ballard is fired this season.
What a dumpster fire organization...

Hello darkness my old friend,
The QB carousel will never end.
The QB carousel will never end.
When Flacco stinks it up on Sunday I hope Ballard and SS are canned that night.
Thoughts on their thoughts?!?
