Hey all you Homers that jumped my ass last week when I said the Vikes would get rolled again in LA. It's amazing that you could think that a team with a pre-season power ranking of 23 could miraculously turn into a Super Bowl Juggernaut. I truly appreciate your loyalty but when you rely on heart and not logic you discredit yourselves. The Vikes have an overly easy schedule going forward, however, they will go no better than 2-4 in the tough NFC North ( as I said last week) and will make the playoffs (if they do) as a fourth place team in a division for what I am guessing is the first time in NFL history. If this dubious accomplishment does indeed take place, let it be known that the odds of a 6 seed beating as 3 seed are very low, and in the event that happens, the odds of a 6 seed beating 1 seed are minuscule. If you guys want to get together and juggle each others balls each week it is OK with me, but quit pretending you are more than Hometown Rah Rah guys. This team goes nowhere. 10-7 at best and 0-65 as a franchise. Quit pretending it is more than that!
Last year the 7th seed Packers destroyed the 2 seed Cowboys, and then had a double digit lead against the 1 seed 49ers before blowing it. But this is the Vikings so if they even make the playoffs, Vikings fans will want to throw a parade where they can showoff yet another moral victory trophy.
