MVP

First let me state that what follows is just a thought process and I know it would never happen.  But, it's something that really should be discussed. 

Anytime the talking heads start talking about the NFL MVP we always get the names of the top QB's with the top teams.  This year of course it's Brady, Wentz, Goff, Brees, and for a time Watson until he went on IR.   But really, what is the MVP?  Is that not supposed to be the player that made the greatest contribution to his team over the course of the year?  Well, I have to ask this. And some will laugh, some will call me nuts.  But, does anyone think that with Bradford down, Bridgewater on the PUP, that the Vikings are 7-2 with anyone other than Case Keenum?   I know, ridiculous right?  Now, many call Case our second string QB. And I have. But is he?  Or is he really third string?  Now, he's not throwing 3 TD's a game like Kurt Warner did. But really, Carson Wentz?  He's doing what he should be doing.  Leading his team to victory. The MVP award has really become the "Who is the best QB this year" award.  So, humor me for a week.  Give me your thoughts.
