Vikings Report Update
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know Vikings Report with Drew & Ted is on a more extended hiatus than we anticipated. We were going to do a couple live shows when camp started and then a Live Watch party for yesterday’s game, but that had to be put on hold.
A couple weeks ago I had a pretty serious fall while visiting family in Iowa. Hit my head on pavement twice and rolled downhill another 20-30 feet. I was unconscious for about 5 minutes, my brother told me, and got taken to the hospital by ambulance. I got a pretty serious concussion and a brain hemorrhage that, thankfully, didn’t require surgery. But they called an Air Ambulance and they were about 10 minutes from sending me to Iowa City for literal brain surgery if my hemorrhage got any worse.
I was in the hospital a couple days and been home recuperating for the last couple weeks. I was able to get back to work for a few hours yesterday, and hopefully I’ll be cleared to drive this week.
I still can’t focus as much as I’d like to to be able to host a show, but grandson Grayson watched the game with me and we had a hoot!
But, fear not—VR will be back sooner rather than later, I just need some more time to heal up. Thanks folks, and we appreciate your patience. See you on the air again soon!
