2024 Vikings Schedule Discussion Thread

The next big "event" on the NFL calendar is coming this week with the release of the full NFL Schedule on Wednesday, 5/15 at 8PM ET (7PM CT). With not much going on in the NFL (and in Eagan) outside of OTA's, there will be plenty of discussion on the upcoming schedule, key games, betting odds of games in Week 1, BYE weeks, and plenty of predictions from "experts" and fans on each team's 2024 record. 

The NFL has already started to generate some "buzz" on the schedule release with the Monday announcement of the opening game of Week 1 with the Chiefs opening Thursday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of the 2023 AFC Championship Game and there will be certainly be leaks on "key" Vikings games before Wednesday evening. For example, we should know who the Vikings will play in the UK on Tuesday as the NFL has generally announced the International Series games before the full schedule release. We also know that the Vikings will have two preseason road games (@cleveland and @tampa Bay) with just one home preseason game. 

One of the more anticipated games of the 2024 schedule will surely be Kirk Cousins returning to Minnesota as the QB of the Atlanta Falcons and it will be interesting to see when the NFL schedules that game, along with when the BYE week will be. 

Also, season ticket holders and those interested in attending Vikings home/road games will certainly be interested in the schedule release.
