2024 5th
2025 3rd
2025 4th
Risky business is giving up multiple 1st-round picks for a player like Trey Lance who only played 19 games in college. I'd give up multiple late round picks for a player like Dallas Turner who played 38 games in college and played well but that's just me. All I've heard for the past 4 months is how good Turner is and we somehow got him with the 17th pick in the 1st rd of the draft. Good times
Vikings acquired the Texans' No. 23 pick along with a seventh-round pick (No. 232 overall). The Texans received the Vikings' second-round pick (No. 42), their sixth-round pick (No. 188) and their second-round pick in 2025.
In the move during the draft, the Vikings gave up pick No. 23, pick No. 167, a 2025 third round pick, a 2025 fourth round pick in exchange for pick No. 17.
This is the cost to draft Dallas Turner:
Vikings give: 2024 2nd, 2025 2nd, 2025 3rd, 2025 4th, 2024 5th, 2024 6th,
Vikings get: 2024 1st (17th) Dallas Turner, 2024 7th (232nd) Levi Drake Rodriguez
Your Trey Lance comment is both a straw man and has the benefit of hindsight, so that premise is invalid.
