2024 Purple Pain Draft Predictor Pool

We're just one week away from one of the most anticipated events on the NFL calendar - the 2024 NFL Draft! The NFL Draft has grown from it's humble beginnings from a single-day event in a smoky hotel conference room, to the stage at NYC's Radio City Music Hall, to a now 3-day "event" that teams/cities bid to host due to the amount of fans (and dollars) it attracts in-person, not to mention the millions that watch it live on TV & online...

...and with the increased popularity of the annual NFL Draft event comes Draft "experts" and "draftniks" thinking they can predict the outcome better than anyone else.

Rules
It's simple: just fill out the below 1 thru 32 Round 1 draft slots with the players you believe will be selected in those slots and I'll put them in a prepared spreadsheet that already contains all the formulas needed to do the scoring. Of course there will be Round 1 trades, but you're not predicting which team will select a particular player at any specific spot, so it doesn't matter if JJ McCarthy is selected 5th overall by the Chargers, Vikings, Broncos or anyone else - only the prediction that he's selected 5th overall.

Scoring
Scoring is calculated using a multi-tiered system based on accuracy. Let's say Michigan QB JJ McCarthy is selected 5th overall; here is how the scoring calculates:

- 4 pts if you predict McCarthy is selected 5th
- 3 pts if you predict 1 selection off in either direction (if McCarthy is drafted 4th or 6th)
- 2 pts if you predict 2-3 selections off in either direction (if McCarthy is drafted 2nd, 3rd, 7th or 8th)
- 1 pt if player is not within 3 picks, but is selected in 1st Rd (if McCarthy is drafted 1st overall or anywhere from 9th thru 32nd pick)
- 0 pts if McCarthy is not selected in Round 1

The individual who has the most points wins!

Entry & Deadline
If interested, reply in this thread with your Round 1 predictions no later than 1PM ET, 12PM CT on Thursday, April 25th. Predictions received after that deadline will not be included.
