what if there are 2 or 3 QBs who could be the #1 pick in almost any year? In that case is it really setting if you get the #2 or #3 QB? I know to you picking a QB is random and none of this matters but if they identify their guy in a QB rich draft then why not take a chance when we are in position to do so?
We've rehashed this a million times. I enjoy throwing the arguments that my opponents make right back in their faces. They say 11 is settling. That is true, but so is the #2 overall pick. In every draft the teams picking ahead of us force us to settle for what's left. Leftovers. It's the way of the draft.
if Caleb is going #1 and hypothetically Maye is our guy then why do we need to trade to #1? I feel you lack an element of common sense when discussing this topic
