I'm going to go with Wilkins because I think he'll age better.
Why? That damaged nerve in Hunter's neck. It already led to the pec injury. From what I've read, those types of injuries don't fully heal. Instead, the nerve continues to degenerate over time, which will lead to other muscles naturally trying to overcompensate. Leading to more injuries.
Danielle would have to defy the history of Edge Defenders experiencing a sharp decline in production after turning 30 while also avoiding any additional injuries from a slowly degenerating nerve.
Give me Wilkins. No Team will be able to run up the gut with Christian and Harrison lined up on the Interior. That protects the undersized Pace. Just like a legitimate pass rushing threat from the Interior creates more mismatches for Pace & Metellus & Hicks (or whomever) to actually get clean lanes when blitzing.
I've seen a lot of Flores Defenses over the years and last year's was the first time I saw so many blitzers just having no lanes to the QB. That's because unless Hunter was lined up on the Interior the IOL had nothing to fear and could keep their eyes open for extra rushers. All while double teaming Danielle.
Flores is infamous for the number of games he runs on the Interior. But who cares if you're running a stunt or twist with Phillips & Bullard/Lowry/Tonga, et al? They are zero threat.
And Snead allows Brian to play Man on at least one Receiving threat with consistency, something he couldn't do at all last year.
You can get a skinny kid who can't get off the LOS scrimmage against Press Man ala Addison in the 4th Round this year. His name is Luke McCaffrey. Jordan is a great route runner. But he's open as much as he is because DCs are terrified of Jefferson. And Hock is a Top 5 TE.
Take a QB in the 1st and Jalen McMillan or Johnny Wilson in the 3rd. The Defense has centerpieces in Wilkins and Snead. You can then draft potential successors for them in '25.
I was actually going to post Snead OR Adisa Issac/Kris Jenkins but Legends beat me to the punch.
This isn't a good IDL class. It's Murphy and Newton and a bunch of kids with better Combine Numbers than actual production. And I don't see a surefire Starting Outside CB beyond the 1st Round with the exception of TJ Tampa.
The better use of the 2nd Round Pick is Edge or on Offense. If I can get a true CB1 Man Coverage guy for that pick I absolutely would do it.
