Alright, it's that time of the week again. Let's see how the 0-7 Browns stack up:
Injuries
-My Thoughts-
The Vikings should have zero problems with the Browns' offense. Kizer's stats have been disgustingly bad, Crowell has had an incredibly disappointing contract year, and their O-line which was primed to be a top 5 unit has underwhelmed. The Browns are missing their best 3 players on the roster to injury - Joe Thomas, Myles Garrett, and Jason McCourty.
Now without surefire Hall-of-Famer Thomas at LT, they'll start Spencer Drango. Shon Coleman is not holding up at RT, so they're in trouble. They do have a great interior but that hasn't seem to help the run or pass game.
Remember when there was talk Kenny Britt could be signed by the Vikings? Now he's a Brown and he's morphed into one of the NFL's worst WRs. Many have commented that he's simply stopped trying. He's close to being cut (he missed a curfew and ticked off the coaches) but they're so thin at WR they kinda have to start him.
The Browns stop the run pretty well even though PFF thinks their front seven is terrible. They're not quite as bad as they look. Their secondary has been surprisingly good with McCourty grading out as a top 10 corner and Boddy-Calhoun as a Great nickel corner. It's cool to see a guy from the U of M go undrafted and be a big time contributor for an NFL team in his second season.
Alright, any thoughts?
