If I was JJ I wouldn't want to trust my career to a rookie QB. With Kirk for the next two or three years and Grooming a QB to take over that would be perfect for him. My hope is we can sign Kirk for 2 more years to a team friendly deal and draft a QB 1 or 2 in this draft that should be ready in 2 years.

Lets break it down, yes of course hes going to say that first of all hes a very capable QB, you could easily get worse. Really what else is he going to say to the media? Hes not a Diggs type to this point, he keeps his nose clean just plays ball and wants to win, he doesnt start any drama. Hes supported Mullens openly as well to the media. Do I think hes lying and hates Kirk? No I dont. But you have to be pretty delusional to think JJ wouldn't play with any of the first round QBs, lets just be real. If the Vikings traded up to get Daniels JJ would be ecstatic. You just have to lay a plan out to Jefferson and hell gladly ink the deal to be the highest paid non QB. Worse comes to worse hell act out and request a trade in 2 years.

I agree on the top 3. He might not for tier 2. So we would need to trade early like San Fran did. Otherwise it’s Kirk. Kirk solid but the price and for how long is my worry. It’s a complicated matter. I need a break lol. I see a run back I need some time to accept that fact. I know how the movie going to end sigh, but it’s out my hands.

I think what he is trying to say is that Darrisaw is overrated and he definitely is. He's a good pass blocker, bad run blocker. Not worth a big contract IMO

I agree. I really don’t want to trade Darrisaw neither. I just wanted to make a point. Because it’s ridiculous to want to trade either really. I would pick JJ if forced though and trade Darrisaw. It should not come to that.

I think what he is trying to say is that Darrisaw is overrated and he definitely is. He's a good pass blocker, bad run blocker. Not worth a big contract IMO

I think Darrisaw good but I need a bit more to crown him towards Hall of Famer. JJ on the other hand a year or two from sealing his jacket. I don’t want to lose him at 24. That’s a bad look imo.

A great point you made was the picking. So if someone don’t trust how we pick how is picks better than our face of the franchise?

A QB because I trust KO more than Kwesi right now. KO already saved him on Addison. Top 3 or JJ number 4. After that I don’t like Pennix and the others after the 4th one. I do like JJ.

If we get one of the top 3 QBs and start him, watch JJs numbers go way down for the next 2 years. You can mark my words and we can come back and revisit this.

Absolutely correct. We really shouldn't be trading Darrisaw or JJ, but I kind of fear we will be forced into trading JJ.
