With the season basically over after a devastating loss to the Packers, the Vikings find themselves faced up against a pissed-off Lions team looking to reach the #2 seed. Will they thread the needle and limp into the #7 seed, or find their way to a top 10 draft pick?

*My Thoughts*
There isn't a whole lot here to discuss that wasn't already covered two weeks ago. The Lions offense carved up the Vikings defense for 30 points, and now at home they shouldn't have any issues repeating that (minus probably not getting 4 interceptions to put them in good field position again). Especially since the Vikings had a healthy CB corps at the time, and now Murphy and Blackmon are injured, the unit is down to just Evans, Booth Jr, and somebody on the practice squad. St. Brown should be licking his chops.
Defensively, the Lions axed their nose tackle Isaiah Buggs and are trying out longtime vet Tyson Alualu, as their run defense has been highly questionable in the second half of the season. Of course, that didn't stop them from stonewalling our run game. If the Vikings are to find safer ways to move the ball rather than having drunk Mullens fire the ball all over the place, getting the run game going would be huge. The Lions are healthier in the secondary but still don't have the bodies to handle Jefferson and Addison, though no Hock will hurt.
Prediction: Lions 31, Vikings 20
The Vikings have run out of gas defensively while the offense is a tire fire under O'Connell's management. They could hang around this one as the Lions' defense is pretty bad and allowed 400+ yards passing to us last time, but the matchup for them is stronger this time around, and unless they pull starters when they realize the Cowboys are going to win, they should pretty easily cruise to a victory.
Any thoughts?
