It's that time again! Let's see what the fans of the other purple team have to say about Sunday's matchup. The last two matchups were close and exciting ... do they think this game will be the same? Let's find out!

What they're saying:
This guy has a ton of confidence.
Reignman hopes so:
This guy gets it! They've been lucky/spoiled for such a new team.
Okay, I got some homies over there in Baltimore:
Nice, lol:
Okay, lol, do we disagree with much of this? Heck, I hope they're right!

What they're saying:
Next victim is the other team in purple and I see that Bridgewater resumes practice this week.
Case Keenum has been pretty good, even with the loss of some key skills players. Treadwell has started to get involved. Their defense is top 5 overall
A win here would solve a lot of issues for the Ravens. But it won't be easy

Very tough game. The Vikings have one of the best run defenses in the NFL. Top 2 or 3 last time I looked. The Ravens can't pass the ball. If they can't run I really don't know how they score in this one.
well Minny is big up front in their defense that spells trouble for the Oline, Griffin has 7 sacks in 6 games, Waynes and Sendejo are tackling machines, Kendricks is a stud. 3rd against the rush, 5th in points, 14th against the pass. Offensive wise 12th in pass yards, 19th in points, 10th in yards and 12th against the rush.
Ravens defense 30th in rush yards, 5th in pass yards, 16th in yards and 11th in points. offense wise 24th in points, 29th in yards, 31st in pass yards, and 7th in rush yard...
Do the equation this is a big fat L for the Ravens with a large fry and drink.

Is it too early for me to make my Ravens loss to Vikings prediction? OK, I'll wait until Friday...
Reignman hopes so:
We very well could get shut out.
Awful match-up for the offense.
Defense will need a six-pack of turnovers to win this one.

With all of the above stats, etc. mentioned in previous posts and Mike Zimmer being no stranger to having to prepare for the Ravens this could be London 2.0.
Man you know things are getting rough when we not only predicting an ass kicking but how bad the ass kicking is going to be....well the Ravens were due to have some down years we been spoiled for a long time.
another thing is Zimmer been beating Joe and Johns ass for a long time, he knows joe's weakness like a book, not that it takes much these days to make Joe look bad. But this one could get real ugly real quick.
I'm gonna pick the Ravens to pull out the win, for no reason what so ever other than I'm a Ravens fan and I want to see it happen. lol Otherwise, the season might as well be over and I sure as Hell don't feel like waiting until August for more Ravens football. Most likely gonna be a painful season as a fan, but I'm still gonna watch each week with hope that the Ravens can pull out the victory.

I'm in the minority, but again, this is a very week-to-week league. Very rarely do I look at a matchup that looks like a total mismatch on paper, and it actually plays out that way on the field.
There's countless games this year where one team looks so overwhelmingly better on paper than another, and there's literally no reason why that shouldn't be a 20 point spread, and it ends up being a quite close game or going the other way entirely.
In general, most NFL games are close. And while Minnesota is a good team, I don't see them as this team that is just destined to blow us out. If they beat us by like 10-15 points, it wouldn't surprise me, but I don't see anything close to that Jags game happening. Even when that happened, nobody expected it.

I'm expecting this one to be ugly, and I half expect some sort of change to come about next week because of it.
If Minnesota shuts down the run game, I have no idea how the Ravens are going to score. Maybe another botched punt/kick return. That's all I got.
And this is one of my travel games. I get to see the new Stadium. My wife has family and friends in Minnesota.
And after last week's game, I am not optimistic. But then, I remember that I went to Cincinnati. And they won in Oakland. And London is not American.
So who knows. Skol.

This week won't be pretty. The good news is that it will go largely unnoticed by most of the country.
First and ten. Singleback, two tight ends, Alex Collins is the running back. Boyle motions across the formation to the left, Flacco takes the hand-off, give is to Collins running left and he is wrapped up almost immediately. Using a powerful effort he barely makes it back to the line of scrimmage.
Second and ten, Flacco in the I formation, Ricard is the fullback, Collins again in the backfield. Flacco takes the snap, play action, deep drop winds up to throw deep.. pressure coming up the middle and Flacco’s arm is hit. The ball floats for a moment but mercifully drops to the turf without being picked.
Third and ten, Flacco in the gun, three wide. Buck Allen next to him. Nick Boyle on the line. Flacco takes the snap, looks left, right, then checks down to Allen in the flat who picks up
three.
Annnnnnd out comes the punt team.
Repeat x 10.

Dean Peas will make Case look like an ALL-PRO.....
Better not blitz more than twice or someone might pick up my patterns and then they might know what I'll do next. Better just run the standard, maybe I'll use a dime package next play. Naa that would be predictable, standard package again.
Mmmmm vanilla isn't vanilla if I add some vanilla extract and stick a vanilla bean in the vanilla ice cream, that's called exotic. Goes great after dinner of plain white rice, a glass of skim milk and a piece of wonder bread toast. You can dip that toast into the milk....

Ravens probably going to be DOA in this one.
In this crazy week to week league, I just have no idea what to expect. But something tells me they may go up there and steal a win...
If Williams and Davis both play I think that changes things. The offense will still be garbage and do nothing, but it should at least mean the defense doesn't get run through like they have in 3 of the past 4 weeks.
John Harbaugh might as well not even embarrass himself or the team by trying to come out and establish authority with the run against Minnesota. Running well against Oakland late in a game they gave up on and running against Minnesota are two very different things. You all can be fooled by the YPC all you want, because Collins is good for one big run per game, but Minnesota's front is going to beat the sh*t out of Baltimore's offensive line. If they are going to take shots deep, they better take them early, because they won't get many chances. If Maclin plays, he and Campanaro are going to have to really bring in some quick passes, because that's all they'll have. Flacco is going to go home sore from this game. He's not going to throw it away all the time. He's going to get frustrated, start holding onto the ball longer and trying to take chances. If the Ravens scored more than 10 points I would be absolutely floored.
Meanwhile, Stefon Diggs is going to work over whoever's covering him. Remember, Jimmy Smith's working with a tender wheel. However, I think the team will try to take him out of the game and I could see Thielen being the one having the great statistical game. Latavius Murray has not been playing well, but you can rest assured he'll get going this week. McKinnon might give them one on the ground, but I don't see the Vikings turning the ball over more than twice, which would only be half of the amount the Ravens would need to even make this a game.
Ravens- 9
Vikings- 27

Okay, I got some homies over there in Baltimore:
nice to see Teddy getting back
teeeeddddyyyy
Sooooo...here's my script for Sunday, Ravens come in desperate and ready. The offense sputters as usual but defense plays tough gets a good lick on Keenum, Teddy comes in and resurrect his mojo and ball out and pull out a win for the vikings, media will be talking about it all next week.
Nice, lol:
floyd and diggs are likely out.
gonna be 3-2 game lol
gonna be 3-2 game lol
We will win this.
Whalen is going to catch 8 passes for 135 yards and 3 TDs becoming the first Ravens WR to post those numbers since Torrey Smith in 2011.
In other related news, I’m high.
