Ooooh yeah!
Okay, some of these guys are really dumb. First they're making extremely inappropriate comments about Julie, and now this? Yep, now I want a small miracle ... and we crush them. If I can't win the Powerball, let me have this ONE nice thing.
Ouch.
Not fun at all, thank you!
Good to know. Good.to.know.

Couldn't get out of their own way vs Carolina.
Bad defense but Hunter should scare us.
Kirk throws us two.
Will Taylor attend?

32nd in rushing attempts despite Mattison being a badass.
I feel like this is a game Mahomes goes off and Chris Jones collects several bottles of Kirk's pee.

Over the last 2 years Mattison grades as the least efficient back in the entire league so he is not badass.
Yeah, on his best days Mattison is 'credible'.
I've never heard him described as a badass before.
Cam Akers is likely going to eat into his snap count and Cam Akers has seemingly been fired by the Rams 5 or 6 times already in his career.
They don't run the ball because their running backs aren't good. This doesn't seem terribly complicated.

vikings defense is pretty terrible and they have extremely mediocre lines
on paper we’re a terrible matchup for them

Yeah, our defensive front might have a day. George might get him a couple.
I hope they throw McDuffie on Jefferson the entire game.

I believe this is the only team that Mahomes hasn’t played.
Ooooh yeah!
It's either this game or the Bengals assuming they're sub .500 / Burrow is IR'D which appears like the most likely equivalent to last year's Colts game where a loss shouldn't happen on paper but winds up occurring.
Trap game.
Trap game.
Florio is a Vikings fan, win big Chiefs.
They are definitely a get right defense after facing the tough/talented Jets defense.
The most boring franchise in pro sports. They accomplish nothing and if they folded up overnight nobody would notice

beat the sh*t out of them, make them wanna trade Jefferson to us for Chris Jones and our 1st round pick. Pay him more than Tyreek got lol. Figure out cap later.
They don't have a running game. Their OL is kind of porous. Their defense is also. Hopefully they don't suddenly figure out how to run the ball, protect Kirk and play defense by next weekend.
They can pass. They're currently ranked in the top 5 or 6 in passing yards. Besides JJ, they have 3-4 decent receivers (TEs included) to spread the ball around.

I'm glad the Vikes got off the snide last week. I hate it when we play a team that hasn't won a game yet.
like what do people mean by a trap game? a game where you're favored to win and you could be upset? because I know this is going to be hard for Chiefs fans to wrap their heads around but every game is a trap game.
This sounds like a good game for a WR or two to take some big positive steps forward.
We also haven’t seen Kelce go off yet this year.
I think Mahomes is due for a monster day.

They're not really good, but they're not really bad.
Rookie WR Jordan Addison is pretty good. They also have TE TJ Hockenson. Secondary will have their hands full but other than that we should be fine.
This is going to be a shoot out.
Need pressure on Cousins or our D and will struggle. Pat gets his first 300 yard game if the season.
I don't expect this to be a sleep walk game but the Chiefs are clearly the better team right now. Could be a get right, could be a bit of a back alley slap fight. Ill take the Chiefs though, they are my favorite team after all.
This is gonna be an earbuds and smartphone game while I do something constructive. NFC north & south do not interest me in the least.
Ouch.
I have a feeling the offense is about to string together some "get right" games.

Chiefs will have the #1 offense again after this stretch.
I like this game as a great test for the defensive line to get right.
The defensive line looked alright against the Jets, but finally faced an OL last week that was mostly up for the task. All the tricks and personnel packages that Spags and Cullen like to run out there can vex most OL, but when you face a legit good one, sometimes you really just need the talent to win.
The Vikings have that OL as well. Darrisaw and O'Neill at tackle, and the Vikings interior, are all solid-to-great at their positions. This has allowed Cousins to look the best of his entire career. The Chiefs DL will need to show that they're talented enough to get Cousins in the dirt. My guess: mixed results. And that's going to be enough to slow the Vikings down some, but if Cousins is upright, he really only needs to throw the ball to the general zip code of Justin Jefferson. He's playing like prime Calvin Johnson right now; there is no ball too far, no jump ball too high, no defensive back who can stick. The Chiefs will at least have a very good, very long CB in Sneed to have in his hip pocket, but it may not even matter.
The Vikings have a good run game, too, but that may be as much of an opportunity as anything, because Alexander Mattison is putting the ball on the ground some. Four games in, I still haven't quite figured out if the Chiefs have a good run defense yet. Their linebackers and positioning has been outstanding. The lack of sheer nose tackle talent on the roster continues to have me concerned, even as they've performed well into September.
I've really enjoyed watching Addison develop as well, and he and Hockenson are both good offensive options for the Vikings. I just don't think they're going to do a ton of damage on the back half of a defense that's playing so, so disciplined right now. But again, if the DL gets home, I think they're going to be really neutered. Aside from that, I expect the Vikings to put up 24 to 27 points.
Which is going to be a problem for them, because I cannot see how they stop Mahomes. They have some good talent at all three levels, but (a.) the rest of the talent is really lacking and/or underperforming, and (b.) they're not playing together very well as a unit.
They struggle to get to the QB, which forces them to blitz. Well, the OL is good enough to keep Mahomes clean if they hang back, and Mahomes will murder them if they blitz. Flores is also pretty ideological with his defense, and rigid to change. Those kinds of DCs always get chewed up by Reid.
The Vikings are giving up 400+ yards religiously right now. If the Chiefs don't put up at least 30, I'd be shocked. I think it's more likely they drop 40+ points.

I don't think the Vikings are a team that puts a lot of ridiculous stuff out there. This is not a complicated team.
They have a WR playing like a GOAT and a good OL. They've got good secondary options and a smart QB. No need to get fancy, just hope the OL is up for the challenge of the Chiefs' DL. So long as they are, they believe they can keep up with Mahomes. I doubt the Vikings do anything outside the ordinary.
I just... am not so confident as they may be.

You'd expect them to be pretty desperate given their record, but there are a lot of sh*tty teams on their schedule. The Vikings could lose this and still easily finish with a winning record.
We know this. There are no gimme games in the league when all the teams hate you and they hate us. We also know that our WR's better be more productive in this game or we will have a big problem. Minny is not great but they have the players to score when they get going.
The Vikings D is not good and blitzes.
This looks like a game where our offense will look like they are back again.

Haven’t seen them play this season, just heard about them.
Of course, the Jets OL was supposed to be akin to 5 pieces of wet toilet paper, and that wasn’t really the case, so . . .
And I guess I’m in the minority, but I’m pretty sure Flores is a good DC; so I don’t expect them to just lay down for us.
We’ll see how they actually play. About the only thing I’m certain of is that the Vikes defense isn’t the Jets.

Their personnel just isn't very good, they were bad on defense last year too..
The corpse of Harrison Smith is one of their safeties...first rounder Lewis Cine is on the bench still...UDFA Ivan Pace plays starter snaps...
Danielle Hunter is like thier only really good defender...their best corner is Byron Murphy Jr who the Chiefs owned repeatedly last year in Arizona in week 1.

Fun fact: Kirk Cousins has been knocked down more times (24) than any other QB through 4 games, but he's only been sacked 10 times, which is 14th in the league.
Not fun at all, thank you!
A few facts I picked up from some yahoo on Youtube...
Vikings' pass defense has allowed QBs to post a 111 rating (30th). 31st in Comp %.
Vikings don't handle TEs well.
Vikings have the highest blitz rate in the NFL (57.6%).
Mahomes: 103.4 rating vs the blitz this season, 1 sack taken
Vikings have held RBs to 3.7 YPC (7th)

I actually expected a loss against the Jets because the Chiefs have an uncanny ability, for as long as I remember, to play up or down to the level of their opponents.
Good to know. Good.to.know.

So strange that people believe this. We had what, second or third most wins last season of 10 points or more?
A very strange belief that our fan base has. Wish people would stop believing this blatant falsehood. It is proven FALSE. NOT a fact. A LIE.

If anything, Andy Reid has a tendency to coast a bit once we’re up big so he doesn’t put too much on tape. He’s perfectly content winning, and knowing he could’ve blown a team out by 30. He knows.
The Bills, for instance, love running it up on bad teams.
This skews fan opinions a lot.
Chiefs beat the sh*t out of plenty of teams.

Indoor game on turf with a lot of electronic noise blaring while the green dot helmet speaker for Mahomes is on.
Chiefs games in those venues have been close games, so I expect Chiefs win one score game.

When's the last time the Chiefs won in Minnesota?
1996
They hadn't won in New York since 02 before Sunday.

Anyone else going? I'll be there. US Bank Stadium is one that any NFL fans should really check out. I've been to about 10 different road venues and a Vikings game is a must attend. I'll put their fans right up there with us, except for the 50+ years of heartbreak and misery.
Thoughts on their thoughts?!?
