Oh boy! Who wants to win the prize of ... avoiding 0-4? There will only be two remaining winless teams after this weekend. Will one be the Vikes or the Panthers? Let's see what some opposing fans think.

It really is crazy how sad, depressed fans from other teams sound like us. Samesies!
Hmm. Should the Bears hurry up and fire people so they don't screw up their high picks?!

If Panthers don’t win this weekend we risk going 0-6 to start the season because we’re not beating the Lions or the Dolphins in the two weeks after that. If we beat the Vikings we can still lose against the Lions and Dolphins but win vs Texans and Colts amd Bears to be a respectable 4-5 heading into the second half of the season.
if you’re 0-6 it becomes almost impossible to build any type of confidence. Vikings is a must win game and a must break through performance for Bryce.

A win sure would be nice. Prepare for disappointment.

Yea, we lose this game I don’t see any kind of recovery for a respectable season possible. Not making the playoffs or anything was an understandable expectation. 0-6, likely to turn into a 2-4 win season would be a big disappointment.
Win sunday and we can somewhat salvage our season, lose and I think the wheels come completely off.
Handing the Bears a top 5 pick would really sting.
Lions started 0-6 last year and were able to build confidence. Granted they have a good coach and good players.
I actually trust our offense to put up 20 points this game. My fear is can our banged up defense stop the Vikes passing offense. Their run game is trash, but assume they're fixing to put up 400 yards through the air. I've told myself unless we get 2-3 turnovers however we can get them I expect to loose. My biggest fear of this season now is giving the Bears Williams or Maye(UNC fan so the Maye would hurt me). Really need Luvu at 100% and for Burns to be that $30million man he wants to be.
Folks should go ahead and expect an epicly bad season. Manage your disappointment.
The winless Vikings surely see this game as their chance to notch a win too.
Justin Jefferson might get over 300+ yards this game.
Who are we kidding? These games are always the get right games for the other team. I expect a disappointing loss in heartbreak fashion.

First of all I'm all in on pulling for the Panthers to win each game this season. I want us to beat the Vikings and win out. However, this looks like the type of team that will lose to even bad teams like the Vikings early, and then beat a few bad teams late in the season. I see our wins coming against bad teams in the second half of the season. We'll have more of a clear identity by then, and Young will be playing more like a pro QB. Right now Young is playing, and I hate to say this, like he's scared. That should improve but it's going to take time. Young also has been confused by the defenses he's faced, but that too should improve. It's just too soon right now. I see a loss to the Vikings incoming, but if we played them toward the end of the season I think we'd win.
If folks are predicting 0-6 and a lost season, do you think if we win this game it’s going to lead us to better than 1-5 and not be a lost season?
I think this game is like the difference between us winning 3 games or 4. Something like that. All this season really has to offer is a few wins against bad teams. We have no 1st round pick, so I can't go into draft mode. It's all in on win this game or 0-17 is still in play. One of our few little pitiful rewards is possibly beating the poop Vikings. We got here through mismanagement, and we're not getting out this season. Just enjoy whatever you can and hope for the best.
I just don't see us stopping their offense and the only other relief on the schedule is the Bears itself. Which is no consolation prize considering we are handing them our pick in the draft so they win that week either way.

Let's not overhype things. It would be nice to win a game, but let's just look for palatable improvement.
Consequently, this is the first game that I thought we'd win, but we have unexpected injuries.

To be honest, I will be happy if we can win a few games this season. We would just get the sh*t kicked out of us in the playoffs and be embarrassed. Ride this season out and come back better next year.
The sooner they win the better. Just knowing that Young can get an NFL win is huge.
There are no must win games this season.
I don't care about a W. Honestly. I want to see signs of life. I can live through a losing season. I can live through a catastrophic season. But I want to see light over the horizon. Bad and trending downward I simply cannot abide.
I'd be interested in seeing a Venn diagram showing the overlap between Huddlers that screamed about needing to be aggressive in landing a franchise QB (even if it costs future 1sts) and the Huddlers that are now bemoaning the loss of next year's first.

If Dalton starts, it's a get-right game for Minnesota.
If Young starts, it's a get-right game for Minnesota.
Instead of putting all the eyes on QB performance, let's highlight Mr. 2 YPC himself, Miles Sanders, and his merry band of turnstiles.
Young's not gonna throw for 375 yards and 6 TD, sorry. Probably 1 TD, 1 INT. Probably another 12-carry, 30-yard performance from Sanders where one carry goes for 12 yards and the rest are -1 to 1.

I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the 130-to-190-yard rushing game Minnesota will have.
Ooo. Really?!
This isn't a must win game. We were always going to have a losing season this year. Wins were never supposed to matter this year. Developing Bryce forward by year end is all that has ever mattered.
People didn't want to listen to this prior to the year kicking off. It never mattered that Frank said he wanted to win. That is just standard coach bologna you say to a losing fanbase.

It ain't happenin. Vikes have lost all close games and are just flat out better than the Panthers. I would say that Panthers have HFA, but c'mon, BOA isn't HFA anymore.
Technically I don't like to think of any game as a must win until the loss would mathematically eliminate us from the playoffs. I look at this game as a good opportunity for Young to gain some much needed confidence in running our offense. I'm hoping we can score 20 something points and get out of this funk where it feels like were always headed to 13 points tops. The average points scored per team in 2022 was 21.6, and a great team like KC averaged 29.2 points. We're averaging 18 ppg, so 0-3, but we held on to our veteran defensive players as per Fitt's plan. Can I explain what Fitt is trying to do? Certainly not.
