No I'm not kidding watch the entire game. Flores dictated game flow with his alignments. When he wanted to stop the run in the 1st half he stopped it. Philly only ran in the 2nd half when Flores went into a cover 2 shell and decided he'd let Philly beat him running. Minnesota fumbled the ball away on a big return, fumbled it again into the end zone on a scoring play, and I think they had another fumble in there too. Erase those fumbles and it's an entirely different game.
Okay, you get the point. They're on the struggle bus, too!

We'll probably win in a blowout due to Staley simplifying the defensive scheme, and Moore opening the playbook for Herbert to air it out.
I think Moore will focus on the fact that the Vikings just gave up 259 rushing yards to the Eagles. At least I hope he will. Minnesota's defense has given up fewer than 200 passing yards in each game so far.

We are not the Eagles, and won't be getting 200+ rushing yards against them. I'm more worried about Cousins shredding us with their passing attack.

Teams decided to pass more and run less. The reality is they could have done either last year.

I'm still of the opinion that if we can get inside pass rush from Tuli with Bosa and Fox on the sides with additional pressure coming from Derwin and some blitzing from Murray and Staley stops benching and rotating corners, we can have something pretty good defensively. I'm not and never have been high on Johnson and SJD. I also think pressing in Daiyan Henley at linebacker instead of an aging Eric Kendricks would be best.

I think Herbert can be a lot better, his best days are ahead of him. He was good enough to get a win either game. The defense needs to play without fouling. That what hurt the most in both games. Get a stop but no, penalty and free 1st down.
One last preseason game to go. Then on to the regular season when the calendar rolls over into October.

This defense has trouble defending the blow-by deep pass to WRs. Treylon Burks blew by Samuel for a 70 yard strike from Tannehill, later Michael Davis gave up a 49 yard completion to their #4 WR. The Titans scored TDs at the end of both those drives. The Chargers' D had seemingly bottled up the Titans passing game and were getting to Tannehill repeatedly. They sacked Tannehill 5 times yesterday. The Treylon Burks blow-by of Samuel changed the tenor of the Titans' offense, it woke it up, gave it confidence. I don't need to go into how many times Miami's receivers blew by Chargers' DBs the week before.
The Vikings have Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. If Staley doesn't fix the blow-by breakdowns for this game I don't know the Chargers stop the Vikes' WRs. I really don't understand how the Chargers are favored in this game.

I have watched both Viking games this year. It's not a stretch to say they are the NFC version of the Chargers. Last year they won a few more close games than we did, but they find interesting and creative ways to lose just like we do.

The Vikings are a better football team than last season despite their 0-2 record IMO. The only reason they're 0-2 is because they've fumbled the ball away in both games. They outplayed philly in philly and should have won that game and last year they had no chance of outplaying philly. Their defense doesn't have much talent but they can actually get stops now Flores is a massive upgrade over Donatell and he dictates the terms of how offenses play.

To me the Chargers games are no longer even nail biters... This current HC has taken all the fun out of the Chargers and their games... These games and their outcomes are all too predictable and there's no progress or many great plays, just players getting beat and always out of position and folding when it matters most. Yesterdays game was a bore and the outcome was like all the rest of the games under this coach. I guess you could call it uninspired football. When it gets to the point where we begin rooting for the Chargers to lose games so this coach can get fired and we can have a higher draft pick that's where I draw the line. I don't know about you but after these last 4 games under Staley and listening to him talk, I'm starting to watch the games under this mind set, and I hate rooting for the Chargers to lose, but here we are.

This is like the battle of the best 0-2 teams in the league! Vikings and the Chargers...talent pool is very high on the offensive side of the ball for both teams. Now it's a race to see who provide the best defensive stops. LOL!
Can we stop Herbert from going 3 & out? Hopefully Ekeler plays and we don't have to depend on K3&O to throw for the W
Herbert has had the bad D his entire career. In his 3 years plus 2 games his D has allowed 25.7 points per game. Compare that with Mahomes: over the same stretch the KC D has allowed 21.6 points per game. 4.1 points per game is huge - we have lost 11 games by 4 points or less in Herbert's career.

The Chargers have not won a division title in the eight full seasons that John Spanos has been director of football operations for the Chargers, despite having a QB being named to the Pro Bowl in four of those seasons and a QB winning OROY in another.
Only way I have dealt with the Spaznos pukes ruining my team is I haven't bought one single Chargers item this season and will not in the foreseeable future. I only watch the games on free stream too. f*ck the Spanos. Period. I hope they go broke.
I think Herbert is really pissed about the offensive line letdowns. If he mentally checks out it's because Staley just cannot or refuses to come down on the oline players not delivering. It's a sieve and Herbert knows it and he can become fickle about such things without actually having to mouth off about it. Body language here

I’m embracing the tank and the cleansing of coaches and over the hill high priced players. And a top 10 pick ! I don’t see more than 5 wins left on the schedule. Feels better to embrace the sh*tty this team is.

That seems crazy to me. And Mike Tomlin shouldn't even be on the list, because you know he has a lifetime contract. There's no way the Steelers are going to fire a black HC. The rest make sense. I'd even put Riverboat Ron up there. He might be 2-0, but I still see them finishing no better than 6-11, and this guy probably should've gotten fired awhile ago. He hasn't had a winning season since 2017. Fire Ron, and promote Eric Bieniemy before someone steals him.
