Each August, The Athletic's Bruce Feldman releases a list of the top college football "athletes" - which isn't necessarily a list of the top players, but more of a listing of the college players with the most athletic abilities. Not all players on the list are Draft-eligible for the following year's Draft, but I always reference this list when I start to get into "Draft mode" during the Bowl season and into the leadup to The Combine (you can always get a sense of who will perform well during athletic testing using Feldman's list).
Here is a link to the 2023 list, where Feldman writes a bit about each player: link
If you don't want to click on the link and just want to know the players, I've listed out all 101 players below, along with their class (FR=Freshman, RS=Redshirt, etc), team & position - the bolded players are eligible for the 2024 Draft:

By the Numbers:
Takeaways:
- What jumps out at me is the number of DL (both DT's & DE's) players on the list; there are 33 total which is approx 1/3 of the total players listed. To further that point, 10 out of the top 20 playes are DL players. With all but 2 of them being eligible for the 2024 Draft, it seems there's going to be some athletic DL players coming out, which should be good news to the Vikings who might spend an early Rd pick on the DL.
- Speaking of the DL, Penn St - who is the leading team w/ 6 players - has 4 DL players on the list, along with 1 LB. To say that Penn St's Front 7 will be athletic might be an understatement.
- Kind of interesting that the SEC is only 5th in terms of conferences with the most athletic players on the list; even behind FCS conferences who have more.
- Ivan Pace Jr's, younger brother Deshawn Pace - who plays the "Star" position (hybrid LB/S) for Cincinnati - is draft eligible and is on the list. Ivan didn't make the list last year and isn't the most athletically gifted player, so if Deshawn has Ivan's on-field-play and attitude with more athleticism, the Vikings might want to take note.
