The problem with Kwesi. I think Kwesi is going with Wall Street type approach that does not work in the NFL. Let me explain he wants value and to buy cheap. So he picks up players who were 1st rounder but didn't really pan out, players who are injured etc.
Yes he wins the value game but that is not what wins in the NFL what wins in the NFL is Production. The third best CB according to PFF in the NFL last year was Duke Shelley why is he not re-signed? One of the most productive QBs is Kirk why not extend him. There are decent FAs out there who are not 1st round let-downs or have injury issues that you can sign but he doesn't. Bradbury has been terrible he wasn't much better last year he was "protected" and now he has a back injury but again value trumps production for Kwesi he brought him back on a great value deal. This won't work in the NFL.
Last year was a great CB draft many were chosen and started but he picked an injury prone guy in Booth cause he was great value. Remember Booth was beaten by Shelley before his injuries. Instead of just sticking and taking Kyle Hamilton ranked the #1 S in the NFL by PFF this year he plays the value game and gets Cine and gives DET a top WR. That might play on Wall Street but it is terrible in the NFL. Jameson already beat us in one game how many more to come?
How much damage will this team take before Kwesi realizes value doesn't trump production in making NFL decisions.
