I did notice you left Stafford off that list. The only other QB to win a Super Bowl in that time period. So, let's look at his numbers.
Well, he only made the playoffs in 2021. So he went 4-0 in the playoff.
But in the 5 years listed.
2018-2020 PPG on defense with the Lions. 27.1 ppg Zero playoff appearances.
2021-2022 PPG on defense with the Rams. 22.0 ppg. In 2022, only played 9 games, and went 3-6.
What am I thinking, that's right defense doesn't matter. The QB should be able to overcome whatever the Defense gives up.
