If the interior is weak the good teams will expose our offense and it will be a long year. It's a huge problem and if not address will be our downfall in the end this year. If you got Risner and it didn't work out I can live with it because you tried to fix it logically. If we stay put and it hurts us, that is the type of things that will make me not believe in what they doing.
It really puzzles me that they haven't signed Risner. I hope it's due to things we cannot know, like he wants a truckload of money. Because even if they believe Ingram is about to make some great improvement, then put Risner at LG, which is the position he played since coming into the league. Cleveland shifts back to RG, where he played before, and competes with Ingram. If Ingram keeps the RG job, then Cleveland is good depth, probably able to play either OT spot as well. Ezra would probably be disgruntled, but he's almost certainly gone this offseason regardless.
I just really hope this is not because KAM is afraid of admitting his first 3 draft picks from last year all look like crap and so he wants to keep declaring that Ingram is a competent starter and therefore was a good pick.
I wish they would actually look at a place we need help.
Yes and along those lines, bring in some CBs. We signed another ILB? We need 2 on the field some of the time, and maybe 1 when they have 6 DBs on the field. Flores seems to understand that Harrison is great near the LOS so he's like another LB. But who is going to play CB?
