What They're Saying...
I really wish Jaire would shut the hell up with all this trash talk.
His resume to this point consists of him signing a big contract.

Vikings live in sh*t. Sure sure, they've pulled a rabbit out of their a**es and got the W and a win is a win is a win ... I get all that -- but -- I don't care.
Packers were so out coached last time, and we still have Barry, but damm it ... enough is enough already.

I hate the queens and they suffer the worst loss of their season and lose all their starters. They're easily my most hated team, I know that is a little immature, but I truly wish the worst on them.
Same here!!! I HATE that team with a passion!! Their uniforms are the ugliest uniforms in the NFL!! Their stadium looks stupid..Their fans are stupid..and..whoever blows that stupid horn..I hope it gets crammed up Their ***!! And finally..what the hell is skol? Only morons would chant that!!
"Skol" is a brand of chewing tobacco. So I like to think of them a not exactly chew, but the spit of chew. And definitely agree, that horn can definitely go where the sun don't shine!
Hope Joe Berry finally sticks Jaire on Jefferson more this time.
Rumor has it Vikings might be resting player and have others on a pitch count.
My thought on this is if they are it's against what the players want, as I have no doubt they would like to knock us out of playoffs and brag about it for thd next 2 decades seeing as we dominated this division for the last 20 add years.
That said I hope they show up to play and do there best to beat us because then when we kick there as.. back to Minnesota they will be depleted and demoralized.
If we can beat them at there best we have no business going to playoffs since we will be facing much better teams then them once there.
I'm looking forward to a 60 minute WAR!

No way they will be resting/pitch counting players. They still have a shot at the #1 seed if the Eagles lose out and would probably drop #3 below the 49ers if they lose to the Packers. They will come out with guns blazing on Sunday.
I finally watched the Giants vs MN.
I was not overly impressed with MN last week. The Giants could’ve very easily beat MN.
In 1st quarter. NY pushed it 50 yards downfield and then fumbled the ball after a 16 yard catch (MN 23 yard line) and MN started at the 36 after recovery. Vikings scored a 3pt FG off that takeaway (6 point swing).
Giants threw an INT to open the 4th quarter after a nice 43 yard drive into FG range. (1st & 10 at MIN 32). Lost a FG opportunity there, but at least NY Defense held.
Then the Giants allowed a blocked Punt at their own 31 yard line with 4:00 left in the game. Vikings started at the NY 29 yard line and went 5 plays for a TD.
The Vikings went on to kick the game winning FG with 4 seconds left. From 61 Yards! We all know that games come down to inches and seconds. Allowing those easy points in a lower scoring game is critical. We’ve got to take care of the ball or at the very least win the turnover battle. Cousins n Co. Played a clean game
0 fumbles
0 INT
0 blocked kicks
Vikings were 2-14 on penalties compared to NY 7-63 penalty yards.

So, initially I was concerned about the defense stopping the Vikings run game once Lowry was put on IR and Wyatt was going to playing far more snaps against the run but then I remembered that EVERY Packers dlineman has been terrible against the run and so any downgrade in run defense will be minimal at best. So, I'm still concerned about the Packers holding up against the run but it's not as bad as I initially thought.
If, and it's a GIANT "if", Barry learned from the first game and lets the highest paid corner in the league line up against Jefferson (in press coverage, not 15 yards off the line) then I think the Packers should be able to win this game somewhat easily against the luckiest NFL team in history.

I respect the Vikings but they are no where near as good as their 12-3 record suggests.
11-0 in one score games is insanity. They deserve some credit for that, but there’s also an incredible amount of fortune that goes into it as well.
They are essentially the 2019 Packers.

A few years ago a reporter asked one of the Vikings just before the season what he thought would be a successful season. The player replied if we go 2 and 14 if the two wins are against Green Bay it was a successful season.
They will be frothing at the mouth Sunday they hate us so let's not be thinking they'll rest people or will go easy.

The fact that the Packers are favorites makes me think certain in the know people believe the resting/pitch count theory.
The Vikings haven't been overly impressive for most of the season but they have found a way to win close games.
I really don't understand why people believe the Vikings are thinking about resting any of their starters. A loss would most likely mean they would lose the #2 seed to the Niners possibly resulting in having to play another road game on their way to the Super Bowl.
In addition they still have a small chance of securing the #1 seed in the NFC as well.

Vikings have a very good KO returner. This game should show us if our ST are up to the task and if Crosby is a liability. Hopefully we will be kicking off quite a bit.
Remember this, there's a reason why the Vikings are winning football games.
And if the Packers had so much dam talent and good coaches, we would be on top of our division instead of the Vikings.
Win or lose this game, there has to be a house cleaning in GB before next year in terms of a serious @ss-kicking.
I'm predicting:
Vikings 38
Packers 7
Now let's move on to the 2023 season

The Vikings are a good football team. I think they are truly the strength of a 12-5 type squad (but slightly regressing) We obviously started slow as everyone kinda knew we would, but it took longer than expected. Packers are essentially a 10-7 strength team and will be meaning business and playing in front of a home crowd.
I like our chances at home 2nd time around. We are not the Week 1 team the Vikings saw at US Bank and if they are expecting that? They will be very disappointed.

MN is clearly a Pass heavy Offense. They are top 10 in many Offensive categories. One of the few weakness’ is allowing Sacks (26th). Barry needs to recognize that Kirk Cousins will crumble if he starts getting banged around some. Our DL/LB need to be challenged to get some hits on Kirk in this one and make Kirk throw while scrambling.
Packers lead all-time series 64-57-3. 63-56-3 in regular season. 1-1 in playoffs.
Last meeting: September 11, 2022. Vikings defeated the Packers 23-7. Justin Jefferson caught 9 passes for 184 yards and 2 TD's. Rodgers threw for less than 200 yards before being relieved by Jordan Love.
Vikings offense is 11th in total yards and 7th in scoring. They are 5th in passing yards and 28th in rushing yards. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 4117 yards with 27 TD's and 11 INT's. Justin Jefferson has 123 receptions for 1723 yards and 8 TD's. Dalvin Cook has rushed for 1109 yards and 8 TD's.
Defensively, Vikings are 30th in yards allowed and 28th in points allowed. Opponents have thrown for 4122 yards with 21 TD's and 13 INT's. Opponents have rushed for 1812 yards and 15 TD's. Vikings have 36 sacks which ranks 15th.
Vikings are 11-0 in games decided by 8 points or less. Only their defeat of Packers in Week 1 was a double digit win.
Packers favored by 3.
Money Line: Packers -182 Vikings +140

I cannot for the life of me see how the Packers could be favored, even by the home-team three. Do the "experts" think Minny has nothing to play for?
Look, you've got a good offensive team - the Vikes - going against a poor defensive team - the Packers.

Seems to me a recipe for a Packer loss and a quashing of these fantastical playoff hopes.

According to total DVOA, Green Bay is 11th and Minnesota is 25th.
Minnesota is literally the luckiest team in the NFL this year. It is liking watching the 2018 Bears season, with purple glasses on.

GB will beat Minnesota; they are not nearly as good as their record, and GB is better than their record. At home, GB wins
Minnesota may not be as good as their record, but Green Bay hasn't shown itself any better than their record.
Both the Giants and Washington play at Noon Sunday so losses by either should give The Pack extra incentive to stomp the Suckqueens being the game is at 3:25. . And they do SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They shouldn't be watching anything or giving a f*ck what other teams are doing. Just pound the vikings.
My hatred of the Vikings is so deep, I was pissed when they won and actually helped the Packers!
Thoughts on their thoughts?!?
