Allen appears to be out. Well, it’s about freakin’ time! It’s about time we got some breaks. Year after year lately is seems the breaks have always gone towards our opponents. If this breaks were going to even out, let it all happen in a single season. Let’s go!
Buffalo is still a good team even without Allen, but they are not infallible. They have had their struggles. Yes they beat the Chiefs, but they are 0-2 in their division. They have looked both unstoppable and vulnerable. Without Allen, its going to be all about their defense.
Here’s how we win:
1. IF THE OLINE HOLDS, THEIR SECONDARY IS VULNERABLE. Their best member of the secondary is out (Pryor). Their corners are ranked 58th, 59th, 65th, and 67th. Their eligible safeties are ranked 37th and 76th. If the OLine can keep the pocket cleaned and the coaches can scheme KC some time, we can have a big day through the air.
2. LET DIGGS BE DIGGS. We have already shown this season that we don’t need to shut down the other teams top receiver. We just have to prevent them from getting multiple scores. So let Diggs go for 10 catches, 144 yards as long as he doesnt score twice. We just need to continue to shut down the run and limit the other receivers.
3. ELEVATE. A lot of vets on this team. They know that this year has been a building a process. They know they have t played consistently or played their best. I expect this group as a whole will really focus and dial in and know that this a game that can change the conversation, with or without Allen. They know that they spend 5 of the next 6 weeks at home after this game. They know that it’s time to grow and take that step to be an elite team.
That’s it. That’s what we need to do to win week 10. I believe that this is game we have been waiting for.
