So I thought I would start a thread for what I consider the most useless award in the NFL. Why is is useless? Because it's not really about an MVP, it's about the most popular player that looks the best on a winning team. And for this year two of the favorites of the past won't be on the list. Rodgers and Brady. But don't worry, the list won't be long. 3 is usually the most that have shot. And those three this year will be.
Josh Allen
Jalen Hurts
Patrick MaHomes
Now, it won't matter what any other player does in the league from this point on. One of those three will win the award. Right now if I had to chose, Hurts would be in the lead because they haven't lost any games. Yet. They will lose a few. Maybe even this week to the Skins Commanders. And probably one to Dallas or the Giants. But passed on how it's been chosen in the past, my bet would be on either Allen or Hurts at the end of the year. And no, Cousins would never be considered. Even if they won out. See, the wins would never be attributed to him. Jefferson would have a better chance.
