We lose this one we just aren't ready yet. 27-17 Vikings.
The Cardinals and the Vikings have had two common opponents -- Philadelphia and New Orleans.
The Eagles struggled to overcome the Cardinals 20-17, and were outgained by the Cards; on the other hand, the Eagles humiliated the Vikings 24-7 and outgained them by over 200 yards, 486-264.
And as everyone knows, Arizona rolled over New Orleans 42-34 in a game that wasn't anywhere as close as the score indicated, while the Vikings had to kick a field goal to barely eek out a victory over the hapless Saints.
This will be another easy-peasy win for the surging Arizona Cardinals as they go for another victory since season changer DeAndre Hopkins has returned.
The fans in the North will see a 40 point whipping put on their over-rated and cocky Vikings, 47-7. . .

The facts speak for themselves. MIN scraped by two teams and got close wins. I think the Cardinals will compete well at MIN, and if a few breaks go the Cardinals way, our Big Red team will prevail. Scores between at Cardinals/Vikings games are typically close, within a TD at the final gun. The Cardinals are also looking at a 9-game losing streak in the northern city of ice and pines. It is time to change that and start a new win streak, 1-0.
I got the Cardinals at 31, Vikings at 21.

The homer in me says...yeah we whip them
The realistic me says they stomp us...so there it is

Vikes have been on a bye. Cardinal offense didn't beat the Saints, the Cardinal
defense won that game. Kyler and the offense and the running game looked better
V. New Orleans. (thanks to the D-HOP return)
If the Cardinals win this game, the entire NFC playoff picture will need a suppository
to unclog a conference full of poo-poo, playoff wannabes.
Vikes win and take hold of the NFC North. The NFC Playoff picture takes a couple of TUMS
instead.
Vikes 38-21.

Siriusxm talking heads were saying today Cousins only has 1 interception at home in 3 games. I think they jinx him & he has a couple Sunday...
The Vikings D is not impregnable. Opponents score some, just not as many points as the Vikings in games 2-5. At game 1, the Vikings sucked, scoring just 1 TD + XP. In order to win the next 5 games, Vikings were taking advantage of opponent's judgment errors and inability to sustain their own drives or shut down Vikings drives.
The Cardinals can prevail on Sunday. The team has tools. Smart and timely play-calling by the HC and VJ will give Murray and the D plenty of space to get the job done.
Cardinals win by 2 points. Another nailbiter coming, maybe a 2021 repeat.

Hmmm... the Vikes are five and one including losing by 17 to PHI. They are obviously good although they don't look like juggernauts.
I fear for our defense vs. Dalvin Cook and Cousins. Cook was unstoppable last year when we played them. Cousins is the type of pocket QB that usually carves up VJs zones like a Christmas ham.
Not quite ready to concede this one though. If we can run the ball for a 140 like we did against NO, it will help keep Cook and Cousins off the field, and will give us a puncher's chance.

Don't know that we'll get road-stomped, but it seems that everytime we go there it's a painful, annoying loss and we have to hear that stupid Viking horn blare incessantly. I have no faith in KK getting this team ready to play, but I'm not totally sold on the Vikes either. I know...our kicker will blow it (not exactly going out on a limb with this prediction, am I?).
It is a surprise if Cardinals win and not a surprise if they get embarrassed.
I'm wondering how often is it that a team coming off a Thur game plays a team coming off a bye in its next game?
I was thinking at least we get extra time to prepare and then I realized they got 2 weeks to prepare for us.

Vikings -6
We have won 8 consecutive games outright as a road dog under Kliff.

This is an intriguing game that will really tell us where the Cards are going.
We are 3 - 4 but those wins are against 1-4 Raiders, 1-5 Panthers and 2-5 Saints. Hardly good opponents.
The Vikings are 5-1 but their wins have been against the Saints (only by 3), the 2-4 Bears (by 7), the 3-3 Dolphins with a 3rd string QB (by 8), the 1-4 Lions (by 4) and they stomped a bad Green Bay team on the opening day.
So the Vikings record is deceiving. They are in a bad division and they played some bad teams to get where they are and the bad teams they beat weren't by much.
I think the game is more evenly matched than the record suggest. The Vikings are also coming off a bye week with a new head coach and it's always a coin toss how teams react after a bye.

the good news: Minny has a negative DVOA even at 5-1
the bad news: the Cards do too, and its worse

Hopefully Kliff continues to move his WRs around & incorporate a lot of Pre-Snap motion just like he did against New Orleans. I’ll give him credit for that. I remember a few posters questioned if Kyler was the reason for that. Clearly, it was not & Kliff just being stubborn.
Keep it up.
Keep it up.
Kirk Cousins has been playing at his capacity. Kyler has been a shadow of himself.
If Kyler can sort himself out this team could take off.

The most annoying thing about this season is everyone but the Eagles sucks in the NFC. And we should have beat the Eagles!
Yes the Giants are 5-1 and the Cowboys are 5-2 and the Vikings are 5-1 but a lot of the wins have been close or vs bad teams. None of them have looked real contenders.
The usual contenders like Packers, Bucs, Rams and Saints have all sucked.
Had we started this season like last season we would be clear NFC superbowl favorites.

This is a weird season so far. Halfway through and there’s only 10 teams with winning records. Any given Sunday indeed.
Vikings 35
Cards. 21
Final score will look closer than the game was Is my guess.
