Fraudulent ... 13-4 Lucky or Legit?!

I pointed it out in another post. The man just likes to argue, and even more than that, never ever admit he was wrong.

Opinions aren't wrong.  The thought that the Vikings are frauds is an opinion.  One I don't hold to.   But you can.  But if you want to keep believing, tell me what they could have done to not be considered frauds?  What level of winning takes them out of the Fraud category?  See, if you believe they are, then there has to be level which you would believe they aren't.  

Got it, so no team has ever actually been fraudulent before in your opinion. I think we can end the debate there, then, since our definitions are not on the same page.


Not have their average win be by 6.6 points and their average loss be by 20.5 points?


I actually explicitly called them frauds around midseason when they were 7-2, then they finished the year 3-6-1. Here is the evidence from earlier in this thread:

Wouldn't "anomaly" just be another way to say "fraudulent"? But yes, you could say the Vikings 13-4 season was an anomaly. Kirk Cousins finishing above .500 is also a statistical anomaly.

On a related note. Alex Boone, who had been defending the Vikings all year regarding the fraudulence label, absolutely blasted the Vikings as frauds today on Purple Daily. His first appearance on the show since the playoff loss. Him and Jeremiah Sirles spared nobody on their film breakdown today.

You should listen to it, and tell me one thing they said that was wrong.

Just when we thought this thread was put to bed. JFC, I think we monumentally underestimated just how fraudulent this team was. The Giants clowned us in our own backyard, and tonight they looked like they don't even belong in the NFL.

I'm pissed off all over again and I seriously need to fire someone else. It was inexcusable losing to the Giants. Their receivers weren't wide open over the middle for 15 yard chunks tonight, and were getting hit as soon as they caught the ball. And Jones wasn't going untouched for 15 yard scrambles every other play. Just WTF? Daryl Johnston was rubbing it in all night, "that wasn't working for the Giants last week", "they're not playing the Vikings tonight".

Does anyone on this coaching staff belong in this league? How do you go into a playoff game with a plan not to cover the middle of the field, when you've been gashed over the middle all year? Did they think the Giants weren't going to notice that on film? And how do you forget that Jones can and does like to scramble? The Eagles sure as hell didn't forget any of that.

Is Kevin just the offensive version of Zimmer, in that he has no say what happens on defense? It's bad enough he didn't fire Donashell weeks/months ago, but couldn't he at least issue a few defensive mandates? FFS even Zimmer got that much right. It's your defense jackass, make Ed try something else. Ugh!!!

And how does the offense struggle to put up 24 points against that defense? Hire an offensive guru they said. I'm having a serious case of buyers remorse. Is it too late to apologize to Harbaugh? What if we offer him the HC and GM positions?
