Reignman, Funkytown, and 6 more like this

Just wanted to share some thoughts after this week's win. I wanted to note some similarities between the past regime and the new one:
Coaching
- Offense is great on scripted downs, struggles outside of that
- Running game consists of running into brick walls, only feeding the bellcow and rarely mixing in other weapons on the roster
- Offensive scheme seems to be making Cousins hold the ball longer, yet is still resulting in too many checkdowns
- Already a couple of baffling under 2:00 decisions
- Defense plays bend-don't-break, solid in redzone but weak outside of that
- DC unwilling to call blitzes against QBs who are much worse against pressure
GM
- 1st rounder rookie who will end up providing nothing in his rookie year, rest of rookie class minus a OL not playing any meaningful snaps
- Opted to trade down multiple times, quantity over quality
- Signed average/decent FAs to affordable deals to fill holes, only adding one impact player (Z Smith)
- Restructing/Extending aging players who are making more than their impact on the team (Cousins, H Smith, Thielen)
Differences with the old regime
- Even with Cine's injury, injury luck is fantastic right now. They are screwed if some key players go down (of course, that applies to most NFL teams).
- The 50-50 games are going their way now, partially due to luck and partially due to not as much choking as the old regime had.
- Special teams seems to be running swimmingly
- OL has been better 4 weeks in
Obviously, being 3-1 with a relatively soft schedule ahead is great, and the team is winning when they supposed to, so I'm not making this post because I am mad/angry/ranting - it's just that this team has felt incredibly similar to everything that a majority of us wanted to dismantle, and yet here we are. If I missed the past 10 months and woke up from a coma and was told that Spielman/Zimmer/Kubiak were back, I'd believe it after watching these games. Yes, I've seen some improvements across the board and I am going to give O'Connell and Adofo-Mensah plenty of rope before I declare 'fire everything'.
My issue is that the blueprint seems to be to make this team consistently 'good not great' and never be in contention for a Super Bowl... if they're going to win one before we all die, we will need to see some adjustments. I will be watching carefully.
What do you think, does this team play too much like the old regime's, and what quick/easy changes could be made?
